The Brook Advisory Centre is situated out of the city centre on London Road. It isn't the nicest place to be honest. The waiting room is a bit shabby and the chairs are falling apart. The waiting room is often filled with girls and boys in school uniform, which as as 31 year old is a bit uncomfortable.
The staff are friendly enough. They provide counselling, sexual health advice, testing for STI's and can prescribe contraception and emergency contraception. This place is fit for its purpose but that is it.
I strongly recommend that if you are out of high school you should go to the Sexual Health Clinic above the walk in centre on Great Charlotte Street, or Abacus on Dale Street. read more
