Gorgeous tan, at first…read more... + Stars - Easy to find. Plenty of parking, as the Winter Park Fitness club houses this wee spray tan facility + Stars - Very sweet tanning lady. Charlie the owner is lovely, very kind. + Stars - Great price ($25) But.... I have had many a spray tan. I am addicted to it, going maybe once a month back in LA. And I have to say, that though this tan looked pretty great to start, it faded weird. The whole process of getting a custom airbrush tan like this is pretty personal. You are in your underwear (wear a tiny thong, and not your favorite - black is good - as they will get stained otherwise), topless (if you want, but if not, you will have strap lines). You get sprayed from head to toe and every spot you forgot you had, front to back and then again (2x). Then you are blown dry with a blow dryer. What I didn't like so very much about this experience was not a big deal: it was a little cold in the room for me. Ok, no biggie. But the way the tan aged/faded was not good. I had some patchy coloration, and the hands and feet stayed noticeably darker. So I had to loofah them a bit. But then, about 4 days later, I notice some patchy fading on my thighs, near the groin but not where my legs touched. Also, I have had most of my tans last 3 weeks at least. This one was pretty much gone by 2 weeks. That didn't bum me out though, as I was spending time in the sun by that point - but the patchy fading that I had to fix on my own, well.... It was just kind of odd. I really liked Charlie, though, and I thought she was very skilled, so I wonder if it was the product? Anyhow, I would go back again as she was a sweetheart and the tan did look great at first. General Airbrush Tanning Rules (FYI): 1) Exfoliate well the day you are going, get all that dry skin off - try a shower scrub with sugar 2) Come to the tan in flip flops, a g-string under everything, super loose clothes in DARK color (prob not time to wear your "fav" outfit) 3) Moisturize your hands, feet, elbows, knees very well before you go 4) Shower before but DO NOT take a shower for at least 10 hours after the tan

It's surprising to me that not many who provide facial services do not do extractions. Not only one person but several people recommended Maria at Skin Dietician. When I arrived at their establishment, I was greeted immediately and treated with warmth and professionalism. Even though we were technically out of the pandemic, the first thing about my appointment that I loved was that I was asked to wash my hands. This place takes cleanliness and hygiene seriously! The room I was shown to was the first room upon entry into the suite. My aesthetician was Maria. In conversing with her during our session, it was evident that she is passionate about her work. And when it came time to doing the extractions, she did not play! She knew that it was a painful process, but she worked fast and cleared out as many pores as I could handle. Sometimes extractions really hurt, especially around the nose area, but that is totally normal! Maria was kind enough to move onto a different part of my face when it was too painful and then return to it later. The spa is a bit tucked away. But just follow Google maps and it will lead you right to it!! I highly recommend Maria and SkinDietician.

The actual room I went into was even better, the lighting, music, scents, etc. all made for a relaxing experience. I had never had an acne facial before so Maria was sure to explain the things she was doing and the sensations I could expect. She's also knowledgeable about different things to look for in skincare products and the do's and don'ts of a daily routine so that will help me keep my skin healthy even after this. After being pampered with the many different techniques and products used, I left with my face feeling clean, hydrated, and healthy! The next day, my skin was GLOWING! I never knew what glowing skin really looked like because I don't feel like I've ever experienced it (or at least not in a long time) but this was it! Also, the health and safety precautions taken due to COVID-19 were great! Before visiting, you'll take a survey that ensures your (and anyone else entering the building) aren't experiencing symptoms or have been at significant risk for exposure. A mask was required before entering the building and I was asked to wash my hands as soon as I entered. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking out Skin Dietician. It was a positive experience!
