A beautiful craftsman style home with all the extra touches you could imagine to make it such a lovely BnB. Bill and Anne were the delightful hosts. Ann prepared delicious breakfasts every morning and yummy cookies every afternoon. The town itself is so cute and it's surrounded by gorgeous scenery. We can't wait to return! Lots of deer in the area and they visited town daily!

We just got back from a long weekend up in Joseph and stayed at the Bronze Antler Bed & Breakfast. We were in the Chief Joseph Mountain Room (see photo of view from the room). I would recommend staying at the Bronze Antler to anyone without any hesitation whatsoever. Heather (Bill was out of town most of our stay) was so great - excellent breakfasts, tons of recommendations for things to do in/around Joseph. It it clear she takes great pride in her B&B. I plan to go back sometime and play some bocce ball on the property's court in the warm summer months.

Deer waiting to greet us as we arrived.

My wife and I stayed here in mid December and had a wonderful experience. When we arrived, two deer were waiting in the front yard to welcome us and they were in the garden in the morning as well. The view from our chief Joseph Mountain Room was spectacular especially when its the first thing you see from bed as you open your eyes in the morning. Our hosts Heather and Bill were easy to talk to and provided only the highest class of service and breakfast anyone could wish for. They even provided special local insight on things to do in the town during the slower winter season. This experience really raised the bar for our bed and breakfast expectations. We look forward to returning this summer and would love to try out their Mirror Lake Suite. Thank you Heather and Bill for opening your beautiful home to guests like us.

    Amazing pipeless spa tub.

So amazing! We spent our 5 year anniversary here last weekend and just fell in love with the town and this bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Mirror Lake Suite which is perfect! No detail has been overlooked. The bed is amazingly comfortable, tall ceilings, lovely windows to view the mountains, private garden entrance, steam and more shower, bidet, pipeless spa tub, just everything you could ever want. It's an add on, so you don't really share walls with the rest of the house which is rare for a B+B, so perfect for a romantic getaway, or if you aren't used to B+B's. The house itself is just beautiful and designed/decorated time appropriate. There are beautiful, peaceful gardens, a bocce court, lots of benches to sit back with some wine and a book, a wonderful front porch, all with mountain views and within walking distance to all that town has to offer. And a quick drive from beautiful Lake Wallowa. Honestly, it doesn't get any better. The breakfasts were incredible, served at your choice of time between 7:30 and 9:30 I believe - they rotate from sweet one day to savory the next and back. Our first breakfast was strawberries with whipped cream, a vegetable frittata, pork sausage, and tomatoes marinated in aged balsamic with your choices of coffee, tea and juices. Simply splendid. The second morning we enjoyed pannetone french toast with yogurt and bacon (I can't remember the fruit and sides) and your choice of syrups (maple, tart cherry, boysenberry) and the third morning was melon, eggs to order, sausage, potatoes, and tomatoes and your choice of condiments (hot sauces, green tomato chutney type thing that is amazing!, and jalapeno relish). We were stuffed, and only ate lunch one of the days because of the amazing breakfast. Not to mention the beautiful table setting, dishes, etc. Just perfect. Heather and Bill are amazing hosts - they are attentive but not intrusive, accommodating, friendly, and warm. It feels like you are staying with family friends. They are very knowledgeable and can provide you with as much or as little directions/ideas on what to do as you'd like. They can answer any question you might have about things to do, or places to go, and with maps and books and brochures to boot! We have stayed at many bed and breakfasts, and this is our favorite. We honestly cannot wait to return.

Bonnie Lake. A 7.9 mile hike crossing multiple streams, but worth it.

She knows a lot about the area and even called a nearby tourist attraction to make sure we could get in. She has horses, dogs, cats, chickens. When you stay at Willow Creek Horse Bed & Breakfast you feel like you've got away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. We stayed there while visiting our daughter who attends EOU in La Grande. It was only a 15 minute drive away from the campus. I intend to make Lyndall's place our home away from home while visiting our daughter each time we go to La Grande. My husband says, he wishes we had a horse to bring, so we could have enjoyed some trail riding. One side note, the stairs up to the bedrooms are steep, so if you have bad knees, this may be a challenge. Otherwise, check it out, you'll thoroughly enjoy your stay. www.willowcreekhorsebnb.com

Nestled into the mountainside away from almost everything it sits peacefully. As I sit in the hammock chair on the giant covered deck sipping my morning coffee here is the picture I can paint for you. They have a couple friendly dogs who nestle at your feet as the breeze moves through the trees. The water irrigation can be heard over on one side of the yard while the chickens are talking to each other over on the other side of the property. I have a full belly from a healthy breakfast. Fresh eggs from the chickens with bacon and some fresh picked apricots and bagel. The owners are so friendly, they will happily get you anything you need. They work non stop to the entire place looking great inside and out. Our room is one of the two available. It is separate from the main house and below the covered deck. We have our own two queen beds, bathroom, coffee, Tv, and fridge. There is even other chairs and coffee table. However the place to be is on the covered porch. The sun comes up over the mountain and warms me as I breathe in the fresh mountain air. We already snuck off early this morning for a little fishing. I love how relaxed I am here. It sounds like they are steadily booked. Plan ahead to get in here, cause it's worth it.
