Dr Marusich shares a business on Main Street in Johnson City with a Dr Roger Conti. I've been going…read moreto dr Conti since I was a kid, and while his assistants do a decent job with the cleanings and dr Conti does ok with fillings, if you need anything more than that GO ELSEWHERE!! Over the summer I came in because a part of my tooth cracked and came off. I needed a root canal, my first one ever. I was nervous but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, although it did tick me off a little when I had a camera in my mouth while he was taking an x-ray and he forgot to put the led vest on me. maybe the radiation will enable me with superpowers I can use to take down bad dentists! 2 months after my root canal part of the filling from my tooth came out! WTF?! and since my tooth was nothing but a hollow shell it weakened it and small pieces come off every so often. today at work I was eating a granola bar and it somehow drew out a remaining part of the filling and now I can feel another hole in my tooth, it's awful. I haven't brushed in months because I'm afraid it will actually damage my tooth! seriously, you shouldn't be afraid to brush after going to a dentist! a family member of mine also had a bad experience here, he had a cap put on his tooth by dr Conti and it fell off within 6 months! one of Conti's assistants was getting on my nerves too. during my root canal she would crack jokes with him and it seemed very unprofessional, like it was business as usual and they didn't care about my well-being. a couple weeks later when I went back to pay my bill this same woman was there at the reception desk gossiping on the phone with a friend about going out drinking like she was in her early 20's (she was in her 40's). also, their hours aren't great if you're a workin man. They're open til 5 on monday and maybe tuesday, but then wed, thurs, and friday they close at 2 and they're closed on the weekends. Marusich might be a good dentist, I don't know, but don't let doctor Conti anywhere near your mouth, Marusich needs a new partner!

She was absolutely amazing today. Not only does she make you feel comfortable, she continues to check in through the entire process. Once she started my procedure, she never once left the room. She was focused on my care, and ONLY my care at that time. She made sure I was completely numb, without numbing my entire face and lip. She was never once rough, even after the tooth broke into pieces and she had to surgically remove it. I never felt any pressure or pulling. She took her time and was very precise about what she was doing, and there was ALOT to be done. I felt like a patient. She was compassionate, sympathetic, and very professional. She also took the time to make me wait before leaving to make sure I was done bleeding. She was AMAZING and I am so thankful for her.

It's a patient-eccentric practice where great pains are taken to make sure the patient is as comfortable as possible. Just show up and they'll take care of the rest. Oddly, I look forward to appointments here because of all the pampering. The little details are what set this practice apart from the others. For example, during a procedure, I was given an eye shield so that particulate matter doesn't get in my eye; I was given headphones to listen to music of my choosing; I was given a hand mirror which I could use anytime I wanted to take a look to see exactly what was being done; the list goes on. If you want a pleasant experience in a clean and refreshing environment, Dr. Rouff and his staff are an excellent choice!
