After leaving a studio who did all that and more for me on the east coast, mid-ear project, I was on the hunt. GoodLife is appointment only, with reputable piercers, jewelry options and a cleanliness that reminds you of a fancy (but cool) drs office. NGL my first visit, I was welcomed by a tough FOH. I'd be lying if it wasn't the first time I've encountered a person who treated someone who is not as alt presenting differently. BUT my knowledge of jewelry and brands, placements and piercing upkeep is thorough and the reason I bothered driving 45 mins to this studio. Upon making my appointment I picked out Kelly, who JUST so happened to work that weekend. They were AHMAZING, sweet, professional, and made you feel good. And for me, it was good enough to keep coming back. They introduced me to Ezra, the studio manager, for a custom order placement and that interaction continued to make up for the initial not so great check in. I've been back 2 more times since and have had great service each time. I've been introduced to Marissa as well and look forward to having a second piercer to work with on my ears. Folks know but its like tattoo artists, you just end up with your go-tos. They have great jewelry options and will work with you to order outside of any of the brands in their cases, custom or otherwise. Go get poked and sparkly!

I was a little confused on the…read morename, but they used to be called Wanderlust Tattoos, and now their name is Bespoke Tattoo Gallery, but the website domain name hasn't been updated yet. You'll have to book with an artist really far in advance and they each have specific booking guidelines! Since they're all really talented, they are booked for months and months in advance. You'll need to look on social media or call the shop to have them work with you. This is a little gem in the rough though ! I drive by this place all the time and had no idea they were here. They're located right next to Romeo's pizza in a little building next to Menard's. There's a private parking lot next to the plaza and I had no issues finding the place or the spots. They don't have a huge sign right now or anything, but there's a little one on the door that helped me find it. The shop itself is an open layout, with about 5ish benches scattered throughout and huge sunny windows over looking some trees - it's got great vibes! There are tons of gorgeous plants and the walls are covered with the art from the artists, cheeky taxidermied animals, and interesting statues and sculptures. There's a clean gender neutral bathroom in the shop as well. The artist I went to, Connor (@tattoosbydingle on instagram), was very professional. Be aware, the artists in this shop are very talented and you'll need to book one-to a few months (or MANY months in advance!). All of the artists have specific styles, and they'll work with you on what type of tattoo you want and who would best suit your style. There are a couple black/gray only artists, a guy who specializes in horror-themes - you name it, there's probably someone here who's an expert. I gave Connor a reference photo a couple months ago, and he didn't just copy the photo (like some artists will do) - but he made a gorgeous artist interpretation of the subject matter and even heavily researched it on his own to make it a literal work of art. He was collaborative with me on what I wanted and I had a great experience. I put down a deposit as well when I scheduled, which got taken off my tattoo at the end when it was finished. In the first session, Connor was clean, fast, and professional and I was surprised at how fast he moved. He was also super fair about pricing given his skill and attention to detail. I would recommend booking with an artist here! You have to pay attention to their social media though, and the specific social medias of the artists, since many of the artists are booked out until the end of the year. Do your research babes ! :)

Simple, good price, and insanely fast. I was in and out in about five to ten min. The problem was that the dude was not personable at all. He pierced my nostril but i didnt get to chose any jewelry and gave me an ugly metal disk.im not too worried about that, considering i can switch it when it heals. After it was pierced, my nose was bleeding for a good five min and he just gave me a couple of qtips and went to the back to hang out with the rest of the guys who worked there, completely leaving me in his little piercing cubicle. He also wasnt very helpful with after care before he vanished. Good thing it wasnt my first piercing or id probably never want another. I wanted to give him a tip but he must not have wanted one since i didnt see him again.
