It's a really simple piece (a stylized version of my mom's name, I got it shortly after she died to commemorate her). The coloration has still stayed as solid as you can expect, and it still reflects what I thought was a job well done by the artist. In retrospect, the some of the kerning and letter sizing is just the tiniest bit off, but it's a really small thing and not something you'd notice unless you we're really inspecting it every single day. I'd recommend checking them out if you're in the La Crosse area and looking for a new tat. Their prices are reasonable (or at least they were when I got the tattoo, no idea if that's changed), the artists are friendly, and the work is pretty good.

A little bit of a story…read more I had been told about an artist by a mutual friend and had loved her work. Reached out and had a good interaction with her and made the appointment. There was a booking mess up to start with. I had been booked on a day the artist didn't even work. But continuing on we had got it rebooked and was super excited but had been a little nervous due to what happened as well as it being my first tattoo. Went in for the tattoo and had a good experience with even getting the artists socials. A couple weeks pass and we had communicated on how it was healing. She had mentioned multiple times on doing a touch ups on the tattoo. Then... blocked. Based off of political beliefs (I'm not huge on judging others for it but maybe just me‍). Then found out that the artist had posted some negative things about the situation publicly on her page. If you ask me it was very unprofessional when building a clientele and working in the public. Just wish we could have come to an understanding or just completely avoided the topic completely. I do love my tattoo but the experience attached is a little bitter.

The outline he did was so faint I could hardly make it out, he practically froze me to death in his studio, and the tattoo was nothing short of an abomination. He totally disregarded what I wanted. For a tattoo worth a few hundred dollars, it's going to cost me thousands to have it removed. I tried to resolve this through the BBB, and all Mike did was repeatedly lie in his statement to them, and actually challenged me to "try" to sue him. I wish I could give negative stars, but I can't. On top of all of this, he posted photos of my tattoo online without my permission.

Time was of the essence because it was a holiday week (New Year's) plus all of us were leaving to go on business trips/home to a different state/moving, so we were under a time crunch. Not only did they get us in all together (4 of us!) they accommodated all of our needs. Clint was professional, kind, thand considerate. He was a joy to work with.
