Not only did they get my scheduled right away, they had permits started and had SMUD call me within 24 hours to let me know that the process is started. Talk about fast! Love people/companies who are responsive to customer requests! We were able to set up an installation day/time, despite a week full of rainy days. On the day of installation, Matt and his son Brayden arrived at the agreed upon time. They were both very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Even though it was pretty chilly outside, they were able to install all 4 lights up skillfully and without any issues. We also loved the father-son dynamic where you could tell they communicated with each other respectfully. Pricing was reasonable and we now get to enjoy the new look of our lights! Matt is the owner of the company and he arrived on schedule with his son. We purchased the replacement LED lights for them to install and Matt said that there would not be a problem. Matt and his son were very professional in removing the old lights and installing the new lights. He performed the work with a great deal of attention to detail. There were some issues with getting the lights to sit flush to the stucco wall, but after some tweaking, all of the lights were installed perfectly. It's amazing what new modern lights can do to update the look of our house. They were quick in completing the installation and it was a great job and great experience with Matt and his son. He stands by his work with a warranty and I couldn't have been happier with him. The price was spot on and truly affordable for the work performed. If you need electrical work done and not have to worry about the process, then Matt is your electrician. You will not be disappointed with the team. They recommended a full panel replacement that another electrician said we did not need…read more Technician said our insurance company could send 90 day cancellation notice due to fire risk and that a City permit for replacement takes a while to get. Also created fear of fire and showed me some scorched contacts within the panel as proof. Separate salesman followed up to schedule the work. In my opinion, these were questionable tactics as our panel was not on the list of those needing to be replaced according to the second Electrician We paid in full the day of service but received another invoice. That was apparently a "mistake".

I was happy with the quote and scheduled the service for the next day. The tech had an emergency and was not able to make it the next day. I certainly don't fault him for that and hope everything is ok. The office didn't realize he was scheduled to come out but happened to call me to see how the initial appointment went. They scheduled a different tech to come out the next day. The 2nd tech came out but thought he was there for something else. He didn't have any information from the first tech. No big deal because I could just explain again. He completed the work but installed one camera in the wrong place (opposite side of side yard from where I wanted). I decided I would try it where it was since it was already installed. I called the office the next day to explain. They contacted the tech and he told them it was installed where I told him to. I should have requested a written estimate with the details shown but I didn't. The office wasn't willing to help me after that. They need to work on their communication and also ensure all techs give the customer a written estimate of the work. It was an expensive lesson for me that I will learn from. I will be choosing another company for future needs.

He confirmed the outlet was indeed getting power, and that the box needed to be adjusted. It was a quick 30 minute fix (maybe less than 30 minutes but I got some educational incite from him). Glad I went with Hagan Electric to fix this. A previous electrician from Mister Sparky Electric claimed the outlet needed to be rewired and was not getting any electricity. The Mister Sparky Electric guy charged $400 to tell my HOA: "Resident has square D panel which complies with today's standards. No need to change panel." All he did was look at the panel that day. Maybe 15 minutes to say what kind of panel it was and charged $400. Anyways- beware of going to certain companies to have electrical work done. Hagan Electric seems like a good one. The job I had today was pretty simple.

The price was better than 2 other estimates I received and included all of the permitting/SMUD details that needed to be taken care of. The day of the service, there was great communication and everything with the job went smoothly. Israel and David let me know when addition things were going to be needed and explained the reasons why changes needed to be made. The job site was left extremely clean and the work area looks better than when they arrived. I would absolutely recommend them for your electrical needs.
