I couldn't be happier with Massanutten Animal Clinic. Mia, my Chiweenie was having a lot of…read morediscomfort in her lower back. called my vet and they had no dr. on sight. They recommended M.A.C. I called and they told me they could see her but there would be a wait. I went in, they took her back immediately and I was checking out in about 30 minutes. Mia is fine, they gave her some medication to help and she is like herself again! Thank You Dr Hall and the staff at Massanutten Animal Clinic for your quick response and caring attitude!

Dr. Tehrani has absolutely no bedside manner. I came in with my senior cat, who was not eating and…read moreclearly not feeling well and it's almost like it's an annoyance for him to help your pet. After running full bloodwork, which did reveal a higher than usual white blood count, he basically wrote it off as anemia and prescribed an appetite stimulant and said she was probably experiencing kidney failure. Poor girl has already lost a lot of weight due to her thyroid condition, but there was no plan for how to handle the possible kidney issue, no recommendation for needing to be rehydrated, and no diagnosis for the higher white blood cell count. She got worse over the next day and had some swelling on the right side of her face, so there was clearly something wrong besides anemia. I didn't want to bring my sweet girl back to someone who honestly doesn't care, so found a new vet, who diagnosed her with a tooth abscess (higher white blood cell count due to the infection), put her on an IV for fluids, and on antibiotics and pain meds. She was thankfully much better after a couple days and responded to treatment and started eating again. Needless to say, I'm never going back and am furious that my poor girl was in pain and had to suffer for a few days due to this completely bungled diagnosis. The front desk staff is also not very friendly or helpful, so definitely doesn't give you a warm and comfortable feeling. I had good experiences with Dr. Hall in the past, but do not take your pet to Dr. Tehrani.

Shenandoah Animal Hospital - This is Biscotti. My alpaca that Shenandoah Vet Clinic didn't give a crap about and let him die in my lap.

I have not experienced the level of kindness and general customer service that all the staff consistently demonstrates in a very long time! This level of service has been demonstrated during years of appointments, phone calls and consultations regarding the care and treatment of my elderly cat and the ultimate very tough decision that follows. It's not just your pet that gets the first-rate care; the compassion and patience also extend to the pet's parent/s and all the emotions that goes along with caring for an elderly pet. I highly recommend establishing your pets at Shenandoah Animal Hospital for a lifetime of exceptional care.

I'm so heartbroken I won't recommend this place with the experience I last had.
