She was welcomed with open arms and made to feel just like she has been there all along. She has grown so much and loves what she is doing. The staff is phenomenal! They are helpful and caring. We ended up thinking it may be a good fit as it is in my town and my daughter like some of the teachers. We signed a one year contract. We were told my daughter could try out other classes they offered to just go in or stay if it is the next class offered. I tried doing that and let her stay but she called me a short time after the class was to start and said she was waiting with the teacher and they were closed. They changed the schedule around without posting it. When it came time for the recital there were male photographers in the girls changing area (which happened to be the cafeteria) moms were not allowed back there to help their children but there were male photographers there. Shortly after I found out about this I called to let them know I thought that was completely inappropriate as many of the children get completely undressed while changing and especially with the younger children without having their parents their to help. I was told by Kim (co-owner) that is where they take the group photos and they have used these photographers for a few years. I advised that the photographers can set up in a hall like most dance schools do. Parents were made aware that kids need to be dropped off and parents cannot stay we were never made aware that there would be male photographers in the same room as our children who were doing costume changes. That would never sit right with me and I told her unless parents are allowed to help their children get changed and male photographers are not allowed to be in a room full of changing minor children that we wouldn't be back. A short time later NYC PAC debited our bank account for a full year of tuition. They were very nice while you are signing up with them but horribly disrespectful If you have a problem

I had stepped away from FADS for about 2 years but I missed the friendships and camaraderie I enjoyed for so long at Red Bank so 2 years ago, I came back and it felt like a homecoming. I dance with Sasha Barakov, owner of FADS Red Bank and I honestly cannot imagine dancing with anyone else. Sasha is a fabulous instructor and dancer and I particularly appreciate his great sense of humor. Dancing is a life long passion that I hope will continue for many more years to come. They have a separate entrance for the women's gym, but since we are both male we went through the regular entrance. If you're a female, you an use both. They have a little dining section right when you enter where you can make coffee and relax. The rest of the floor is the gym which is massive; I'll be honest in that I didn't get to see everything cause we were pressed for time. They have a very nice pool and hot tub in the back. I didn't get to swim but the pool looks nice and clean. Locker room is in need of some updates. It was a little crusty and the carpet was peeling in some spots. Overall, it's a nice family gym that needs some small updates here and there. I will definitely be back!
