Wildy over priced, if you do decide to move in with Broadstreet take pictures of every corner upon move in. They will attempt to charge you for things that by all accounts would be considered normal wear and tear by many other landlords and companies. I lived in Broadstreet apartments for 6 years, two separate sites and at both move outs I had bills sent to me, the first location was reasonable and the charges were removed. The second location the building manager did not reach out to me and had the bill sent to their internal collections department, and trying to reason with them got me no where. I finally settled after they removed some of the charges it took months. And I requested a letter of confirmation that we had settled it, and there were promises that I would receive the letter after I paid that was almost a month ago. And now none of my messages for it are being returned. Incredibly unprofessional. take pictures of every corner of the house if you don't think it's .Take lots of photos and rent at your own risk. they use cheap finishes and try to charge you when they're at end of life. read more

I currently live at Broadstreet, talk about poor management. I've caught them in multiple lies about insignificant things. On top of that when I filed a noise complaint they seem to let the person know which unit the complaint come from. I then had that tenant visit me at my door. I think this is illegal. Noise complaint has not been resolved in over 4 month. They don't seem to care and the man who works as part of the management team is a sexist. we had a terrible experience here! The site manager is not friendly or caring! She wants to charge us for new carpets saying our dog soiled them but didn't because some spots are from a big dog! So mean to do this! She didn't like my cleaning the carpets! She liked to make character assignations about another experience I had with her! She is a liar too! Where to start about this company!? Well I've lived here over 3 years now. And the shot I have to go through unreal. I've report my building to landlord tenancy branch several times. I've been a attacked by the building manager outside when walking my dog. I've experienced extreme racism called a nigger, a dirty nigger, been told they don't want niggers living here. Which I am only 1 of 2 black persons living in my complex and they keep trying to get rid of me ever other month. I've been to several broadStreet complexes in the Okanagan area not one person of color working . The customer service people are very rude. And apparently the only person a person of color can talk to in thrie building manager. The complex may look nice on the outside but live here you will soon find out how dirty it is. There's be3n piss in the elevator. Just alone thisonth Sept the elevator had trapped someone a serveral occasions. Things are always falling apart in my unit. I think you guys get the just. The new site Manager Leslie at Waters Edge In St. Albert is disgraceful. Took over 7 weeks to fix my air conditioner during the summer. I called the 24/7 line for head office 4 times in the attempt to have the site manager call me back or find a portable air conditioner. Never did he, even after head office specifically booked a time and date in his schedule. I was unable to live in my apartment for a little over a month. I notified head office I was not paying my rent until the air conditioner was fixed. Instead of talking to me to settle this matter Leslie sent me an eviction notice. When the repair man came to fix my air conditioner Leslie entered my apartment with him. Leslie saw me then sheepishly ran out as fast as he could. Finally Leslie called me a week before the Landlord Tenant Board hearing, which I was excited for in order to solve the ongoing problems. Leslie wouldn't listen to me, he was shocked that I had rent money and I was withholding because he refused to deal with my issue. Leslie denied coming into my apt, denied lying about times and dates (he does this on general building notifications). He kept pushing to have me pay in instalments because he didn't believe I could make a lump payment. He denied all my attempts to get a hold of him. He lied about his attempts to get a hold of me. It had been 6 months already I was waiting to heart back from him about the video footage from when someone broke into my apartment. I advised him I had cancelled my auto payments and would be paying him myself each month as I couldn't trust him. I had also emailed this to head office. Leslie continued to try to take rent money out of my bank account without authorization after I had paid rent. He then tacked on NSF fees because the unauthorized payment didn't go through. I called head office and confirmed the removal of preauthorized payments. Leslie hadn't removed it, thank god I had a stop payment I was right not to trust him. A day after speaking with head office the site management slips me a notice in my door instructing me I must give preauthorized payment. The next month again Leslie illegally attempts to take more money out of my bank account. This is now going on to 2.5 months I have been waiting for Leslie's manager to contact me to discuss these issues. On top of all of this I have seen cockroaches outside the doors of the building I live in. I can only assume they are in the building. Outside maintenance has seriously declined (no gardening dying and dead bushes and trees, overgrown grass). This place was immaculate before Leslie came. The previous site managers were approachable and willing to communicate. Move here if you are ok with lacklustre accountability, care and maintenance, and fraudulent activity by management. read more

The place is terrible. i have been dealing with neighbours really noise even after hours. with pipes that they don't stop been noise. the best is dealing with the lease. when I rent i saw the show apartment in Chappelle. they said that our building was done and it was a mild construction around ,the construction is still going on.... Also I paid for a outdoor parking 60 dollars a month! and is not still done so I guess is illegal. I dont know always you have something to say they told you submitted by email but don't worry nobody is going to do anything...I have been in hell for 7 months my lease finish soon so thankful for that read more

We moved into Broadstreet's Horizon View in Lethbridge in mid-May, 2021. Unbeknownst to us at the time, Taylor, the man who showed us the apartment, approved our dog, and explained the lease and then signed it with us, was not part of the Horizon View team. After he was finished renting most of the units out, he left and Glenda, our current manager, showed up. She has since paid little attention to the lease agreement, but has allowed dogs much larger than the 22-inch height limit and some who bare their teeth at people. She also allows pot smoking in the building, even though the lease says it isn't legal on this property. One of the reasons we moved in here was because of the "no pot on the property" clause. I am on oxygen and pot smoke affects me extremely adversely. We can't sit on our balcony or leave our doors or windows open because we will be inundated with pot smoke at all hours. I am an invalid and only leave the apartment for medical appointments, so sitting on the balcony was to be a way for me to enjoy the outdoors. Because of Glenda, I can't do that. The quality of life that I should be able to have has been taken from me by Glenda. Tenants on the 2nd and 3rd floors of this building have made multiple complaints about the pot smoke, but Glenda's response is "it's legal you know"... even though it isn't "legal" on this property. In essence, Glenda has broken the leases of every tenant who moved here to get away from pot smoke, by allowing and condoning pot smoking, not only on the grounds, but in the building. We will not be staying when our lease is up. I advise, if you have children or do not want to smell pot at all hours of the day or night, wish to sit on your balcony without that smoke, and don't wish to keep your doors and windows closed to try to prevent that pot smoke from entering your home, you move elsewhere. read more

HORRIBLE!!! Refuse to deal with subwoofers blasting, dogs barking, drug dealers, partiers, domestic assaults. Buildings are dirty. Punish anyone that complains or tries to resolve issues themselves, because they don't. Overpriced buildings, poorly made. Property Managers extremely unprofessional and useless.
