All the teachers we have experienced are kind and informative when teaching a class. We've experienced FULL classes and smaller classes and I have felt the attention given has been on point every time. So glad we've found a place that has helped up grow artistically

The employees don't care about anything and are unhelpful. The equipment is in dire need of updating and fixing. Two of my kids got hurt on a landing pad/area because they need to be fixed. When I asked an employee to help my child that was hurt, they just stared at me like an idiot. I would never come back here. Not sure why they're so pushy for you to buy a membership when the place is falling apart and gross.

We had our sons second birthday party here and the really loved it. It was about 1.5 hours long in total, about an hour of playing and then 30 minutes of pizza/cake. During the hour of playtime, there was a combination of free play and organized activities. There was a large open play gym full of fun activities like a balance bean, uneven bars, pull up/hang bar, and a huge gym mat where kids were running around playing with balls or doing cartwheels/somersaults. The organized activities involved dancing/music, parachute circle, group pictures, and signing happy birthday. Most kids were 1-3 with just a few 4 YOs and all enjoyed in their own way. No shoes were allowed in the gym area and children under 3 had to be accompanied by an adult. All parents had to sign a waiver before their kids could start playing. Many guests did this the night before the party but some did it upon arrival. We were able to drop off decorations a few hours before the party and the staff essentially set everything up before we arrived, which was very stress free. They also did all of the cleanup, we just had to pack our belongings to bring home. Great place overall and while the location is not ideal, it's not bad enough to deduct a star.

It's been a year since I enrolled our then 2 & 3 yr old girls in swim class with my coworker's 2 yr…read moreold child. My coworker's child cried the entire class, every class. She has always had some separation anxiety and even when we would go to the zoo together she was the type of baby that would cry if someone looked at her. So be prepared that your kid might cry. Hype them up. Smile and wave. Make a special hand sign or tell them to blow you kisses if they get nervous. Mine both cried the first day because it was new, and then my 3 yr old cried for a couple more classes, but just until she got in the water and remembered it was a fun experience. Due to the emergence of the delta variant, I pulled the girls from swim class at the end of the summer session. They then asked to go back to swim class for a whole year. This year I decided to start over, putting all three of our kids in the beginner class now that I have a 2, 3, and 4 yr old with minimal water experience. I paid the $100 priority registration so I could secure a morning slot on a day that typically works with my job schedule. There is also an individual registration fee that was not included in the priority registration. I chose to make the drive to this particular location knowing I would be able to watch them myself from the huge glass windows. I am very wary of places that don't want you to see what they are doing with your child, or that don't consider more eyes on the water safer for the kids. This year there has been no crying. They are siblings, so they are comfortable together and even my 2 year old is happy to leave me for the pool. They are all together in the same class because we don't have access to water and I considered covid the larger risk to our family this past two and a half years. I believe most of the swim instructors are college students. They are kind and patient. I have watched kids screech-wail in their faces and they talk to them a little and then help them in the water. They don't punish or yell, but they tell them what's going to happen and then they do it gently. I wish it were possible to see the number of spots open for a make up class, but one of the staff is helping me keep an eye out for a make up class with extra spots as she is able to visualize that on her end. Private classes mean it is one on one with an instructor, not that you have the pool to yourself. If you want the pool to yourself I'd suggest you request the first available class of the day on a weekday, and tell them it's your preference. The weekend are busy. We have had to make up two classes this session and they have gone very well. We will likely stay until I am confident my kids are strong swimmers.

They got karate lessons from David Vincent, went on fun field trips: Young Chef's Academy, Jazzercise studio, New Orleans Aquarium - and were transported in luxurious charter buses. The camp took place was at Jefferson United Methodist Church, which has ample space for all the campers and a beautiful playground for them to play on. The director, Ms. Sarah, had fun projects for the to work on lead by camp counselors. She received two camp t-shirts and we even to to attend a talent show put on by the group at the end of each week. She met new friends and made some unforgettable memories! The camp was so well-organized and the kids were entertained all day. They also encouraged the kids to be reading this summer by providing fun incentives. I did not have these fun summer camps to attend as a child, so I was so thrilled to get her into a variety of camps this summer. I am a huge advocate of keeping kids busy and active. Sitting, playing video games and watching TV all summer gets them nowhere! My daughter is doing dance camp, and here are the reasons I love this place so far: 1) The owners and dance teachers are very approachable and seem to love what they do. 2) You can sign up for one day a week, and you pay each time you bring your child - just $40 per day or a discount if you buy more at a time. This is really the best part because with summertime comes lots of vacationing, and I know I can't commit to every Monday this summer and really don't want to have to keep her there for an entire week. It's so stress-free not having a contract or having to pay up front :) 3) The structure of the day: 2 hours total of gym time, arts and craft time, lunch time (bring your own), movie/cool down time, another structured sport-type activity...all in an 8 hour day! Oh and my daughter is certain her ballet and tap days are over ;) She already came home today on her first day showing us all her new moves...she never once did that in dance class. Fraziers' Homestead is a wonderful spot! We went during December, and honestly, the cold weather made it perfect (otherwise I'd be profusely sweating while riding). Our guide was friendly and constantly checked in on us and our horses to make sure we were getting the most from our trail ride. We even saw the owner and shared a good laugh about the "intricacies" of staying on top of the horse. The trail was pretty with bushes and trees filling the space and even a portion where we saw the rest of their horses- I miss it! My only critique would be that the trail ride, for me, was not as long as I would have liked. To be fair, though, I could ride alllll day. This place is great because once you're finished with your trail, you get to go back to their arena and practice riding and/or trotting some more. If you're curious about $$$, I would have no problem paying again. It was 3 of us, and I want to say it was about ~$67/person not including tip. I definitely hope to go back soon and who knows- maybe even get the same horse :).

Our horses were Girly and Teddy, and they were amazing along with the staff and our lovely guide Liz who made the entire experience seamless and comfortable. I had experience riding in the past, but this was my fiancés first time ever interacting with a horse and the care taken to get him on the perfect, most gentle fellow was appreciated. The only negative I can think of is I didn't get to bring the horses home! Facilities were very well maintained and the animals are well cared for and so healthy and beautiful. Thank you!
