Broadhollow is one of the best facilities. The warmth and compassion coming from Dr. Erin Thomas and her team is amazing. I had huge issues with my teeth and which created the need for multiple surgeries. Caring for my teeth comes with lots of anxiety, but Dr. Thomas and her team have always taken their time and soothed my worries. I can't say enough about this office. Who enjoys going to the dentist? The correct answer is No One! However the staff here are so nice you feel like you are one of them. Dr. Salerno is wonderful! Last month my cap fell out, with the help do some caramel, and the office was closed as it was a Friday. I wasn't in pain so I left a voicemail and emailed the office. Within 15 minutes Dr. Salerno called me and made an appointment to see me that day! Who else does this? Did I mention it was the Friday before Christmas and I was leaving town the next day? I will always recommend Dr. Salerno and his office. By the way the place is so clean and in the few years I've been there I haven't had to wait long. read more

I have had the pleasure of visiting Broadhollow Dentistry on more than 10 occasions for general dental checkups, cleanings and several fillings. The staff is very professional and the office is beautiful and spotless (the first thing I always notice). My waiting time has never been more than two minutes; sometimes I don't have time to take off my jacket before I am called in to see one of the doctors. Dr.Thomas and Dr. Salierno are both wonderful. I recently scheduled an appointment at Broadhollow Dentistry and was extremely pleased with how well it went. I had also been neglecting making a dentist appointment for some time, and was not looking forward to it. Broadhollow was great, did a full cleaning and I made an appointment to return and get a filling. The filling was handled seamlessly and I was in and out in under 30 minutes. I hate needles and I don't know how but I didn't even notice when Dr. Salierno had used one to numb the area. I have and will continue to recommend Broadhollow Densistry to my friends. read more

I had a cracked crown for which I had already had an apt to make a new one. Before my next appointment, the entire rest of crown came off, although I was not sure at the time exactly what was the situation. I was in a torque because I was concerned there was not enough tooth left to fit the crown. The office got me an appointment & Dr Salerno saw me within 3 hrs & fitted the new crown. More importantly, my fears & concerns were squelched & I was not only able to relax, but could chew on that side of my mouth for the first time in months. Also, Dr Salerno alerted me to a potential problem in another tooth so I could address it. He was open minded to my approach. I am grateful that Dr Salerno is my dentist. The whole staff here is extremely friendly and personable! The office is very nice and clean. Loved my experience I got 2 front tooth veneers and they look perfect. He was very patient working with me and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend this office to everyone the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it takes about 2-3 weeks to get an appointment. read more

One of my wisdom teeth has been killing me so I called here today and they were able to see me during my lunch break. I did not get a cleaning so I cannot comment on that, but Chris Salierno saw me and identified the source of my problem. He did not rush me out and took a lot of time to discuss the issue and solutions with me. Bedside manner: A+. The office was very nice and modern, and clean, which naturally is vitally important to me for a dentist's office. My only complaint is that I had to wait for about 20 minutes and when I arrived there was no one at the front desk to 'check me in' which was slightly confusing. Fantastic dentist. My wife and I both go to this practice. I see Dr. Thomas and my wife Dr. Salerno. Both are awesome!! Staff is and hygienist are great!! They are honest, fair and also take and bill our insurance plans for us. I have had multiple cavities and food pockets fixed. They are always fixed accordingly with not a lot of pain during and after the procedure. Highly Recommend!! read more

I write this review as a patient of Dr. Erin Thomas. I am a board certified physician who was in need of long overdue restorations. Most important to me was a chipped upper front tooth as I, also, play French Horn professionally. I was afraid, for decades, of having this chip restored for fear of adverse effects on my performing. However, I decided to let Dr. Thomas repair the chip. She was successful! In fact, a respected musician commented that I must have a great dentist since my playing is "wow" better. I visited them over the past 8 years for my own need and they did an excellent job. Everyone in the office are so great and treat everyone so nicely. I had Invisalign done from them along with multiple cavity filled for which I received nothing but great care from them. Dr. Salierno and Dr. Thomas are both equally brilliant in their service. I switched to Broadhollow Denistry after a co-worker suggested I try it (i was in the market for a new dentist since my current/old one just wanted to yank my wisdom teeth out even though insurance wouldn't cover it and they werent even bothering me at all). The office is lovely and clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Dr. Salierno was very nice and funny and made me feel totally at ease. He didnt pressure me to get my wisdom teeth out and even said to leave them alone until they start to cause a problem, if they ever do, which is exactly what I wanted to hear. I'm glad I found a dentist who isn't just willing to suck me out of my money and who just tells it how it is. I highly recommend to anyone who typically hates the dentist. I am a very "difficult" and distrusting patient due to my fears and anxieties and past experiences with many dentists. I can only say that thanks to Dr. Chris Salierno my faith in a dentist has been not only reinstated but he exemplifies the true meaning of a caring, patient and competent dentist. His state of the art technology and office along with the most caring staff, is unsurpassed in my eyes of todays dentisry. I not only would recommend him but as crazy as this may sound, I almost look forward to my next visit. I had not been to the dentists in a long time, so I was really nervous about going to Broadhollow Dentistry. Luckily I went, and Dr. Salierno (Chris) and his staff were wonderful. They put me at ease and didn't make mention that they knew I hadn't been in a LONG time, and needed a huge cleaning. I had to return to get a tooth pulled, however the second time I wasn't as nervous, except that I knew I would have a lot of pain with the tooth pulling. However to my surprise, Dr. Salierno removed it easily and with no pain. Even the day after, still no pain with just a little Advil. Dr. Salierno even followed up on how I was doing. Amazing! The place was clean, and with state of the art technologies too, which was pleasant to see, and seems important when they are working on your teeth. Overall a surprisingly good experience. read more

Just want to share my horrible experience with you. I visited a dental practice called Broad Hollow Dentistry located in Melville. It's a very popular practice and I was solicited from a flyer mailed to my house, which offered a few free services, such as a consultation and cleaning. Well anyways they totally ripped me off. They sent me a bill for $500 bucks then a few weeks later, I received another bill that was doubled to way over $1000 bucks. Well, I took them to court and luckily the judge saw their scam and I only had to pay $500, which is what I actually owed to begin with. This business is full of con artists! Just putting it out there that I had to deal with this issue for years now because I refused to be ripped off and pay that high bill for procedures that I never received. So today I was finally able to prove my case and I won! even though it didn't feel like such a win after all this wasted time. So Beware!!!!!! I would really hate to see this happen to anyone else!! read more
