The Broad Bean is on one of Ludlow's main street where you may get lucky with on-street parking, but are more likely to need to circuit the car park, hoping for someone to leave. It is close to Myriad Organics, and it is worth going into both, as they have rather different stock.
I would consider the Broad Bean as more of an organic shop than a deli. It has a refrigerated counter at the rear of the shop where you can buy local and other cheeses. There is a great selection of tinned and packaged goods, plus organic cleaning products and other staples.
One great feature of the shop is the ability to buy loose goods from jars and drawers behind the till, meaning that you can avoid unnecessary packaging. The shop also features information about local events.
