Best pork pie I've ever tasted. Bought it for Christmas, and it was one of the highlights.

    Review Highlights - Brixton Cornercopia

i love that brixton village market is dog-friendly (i'm guessing in most places outside only), and as it's covered, it's also weather friendly too.

(If your answer is yes, I'll probably try to manipulate your agreeableness, asking for back rubs and gourmet meals, so watch out). Well, would you? They guys who work at this Superway would (after a bit of nudging, and no, I'm not asking them for the aforementioned things). You might think that sparkly hat ordeal is made up considering I say plenty of ridiculous things in my reviews. It's not.. I promise. I leave near by this place and I'm always in and out like a turtle and his shell when he's really scared then really relaxed then really scared then really relaaa.... right so. I go in here a lot. The guys who work here are always nice and put up with any hilarious shenanigans silly drunk Australians through their way. My roommate once broke a jar of salsa on the floor there when she knocked it with her bag, and the guys in the shop cleaned it up and told her not to worry about it. They could have gotten mad, but they did not. They could have danced a fiery tango with the broom, but they did not. This store also has a nice selection of humus, in case you wanted to know. It's basically an average grocery I suppose, but it holds a fondness in my heart. You can also top up your Oyster here. Now if that's not the cat's pajamas, I don't know what is

However, my favorite ones are from Germany and the UK. I knew when I came to the UK, I had to take a look to see what they had to offer. One of the stores I wanted to check out was Tesco. There was a Tesco Express near my hotel, but I wanted to look at what was available in the bigger store. While not exactly close, my kids were able to trek the 20 minutes from where we were and the 25 minutes back to the hotel. What troopers! Well, it was either that or no snacks for them! While I wouldn't exactly call this Tesco a "superstore" per se, it was a lot bigger than the express. It was basically a regular size grocery store. However, their selection of snacks was insane! I'll be honest, I didn't go thru any of the other aisles, but I'm sure they had a good supply of lotions and Kleenex, too. You know, just in case you're looking for those 2 things together. Just sayin'. Anyway, like I said, one aisle had all the candy, cookies, snack cakes and anything else that will give you diabetes. If that isn't enough, they have a huge selection of ice creams in another aisle, too! Including Kinder Ice Cream! Now, back to that snack selection. Of course, they will have a lot of Kinder and Cadbury items. But, they also have unique M&Ms and Kit Kats, that you can't find in the US. Not to mention other brands like Galaxy, Mr. Kipling, McVities, and Thorntons. Also underrated are the Tesco-branded snacks. They have unique flavors and the taste is that of any other name-brand item. Unless you are a snack freak like me, you can probably get most of your snack needs at any Tesco Express. Yes, they have a bigger selection, but of course, the more popular items are stocked up at the other stores.

It is one of the most centrally located street markets in London. The market mainly caters for local residents and the office population in the immediate Victoria Street area, selling food, groceries, books and clothing, but is becoming increasingly popular with tourists. My wife and I visited the Strutton Ground Market while we were on a trip to London in April 2019. We had just visited Westminster Abbey down the street, and my wife told me about a great street market that we could stop at for lunch. She had studied abroad in London and knew her way around the city pretty well. There were so many delicious-sounding food vendors that we had trouble picking. I decided to order from a Middle Eastern food vender called Falafel Zaki Zaki. I ordered "The Whole Shebang Wrap" which was stuffed with falafel, eggplant (aubergine), salad, hot peppers, pickled vegetables and white sauce. Just as I was about to take a picture of the delicious wrap, the vendor posed for the shot and had me cracking up. That wrap was so good!! My wife found a cool Indian street food vendor and ordered some Samosas and a side of Chicken with Rice. We ended up sharing all of our food and were very happy with our choices. We'll definitely stop again on our next trip to London.
