Amazing barber shop! I moved here earlier this year from Southern California. The one thing I was not looking forward to was finding a barber who could actually do a good zero fade. Unless you have a strong dislike for beer, good conversation, and a great haircut, you should be booking an appointment for a haircut here immediately. Nick went above and beyond to get me in the chair for a haircut on very short notice. He responded to my yelp request for an appointment in under an hour, and even kept the shop open late for me. I showed up a few minutes before my appointment and was greeted with a beer (a great Texas beer too!) to tide me over while he was finishing up with his previous appointment. Since I travel a lot for work, I don't have much time to do anything really fancy with my hair or anything past a hotel hair dryer to keep things in shape. Nick really paid attention and had great suggestions as to what to do with the style. The amount of effort he put into making me look great was above and beyond my usual experience, even noticing very small details that I'm sure my previous haircuts missed. All while keeping up a fast paced conversation that jumped all over the place. I would have been perfectly happy with the haircut, but the hair wash, hot towel, and razor cleanup on the neckline made the whole experience of the actual haircut better. I've been going to Brixton now for about 6 months and couldn't be more happy with the place. I'm pretty picky with my barbershops and barbers but Matt and Brixton have made it a painless transition. Great customer service every time I go in and they build great rapport with the customers from what I've seen. Scheduling is a breeze on their website, pricing is about the normal pricing you would see anywhere else except it includes a shampoo, rinse, hot towel and neck shave. They will hook it up depending the time of month and if paying in cash( I think ). Overall, completely satisfied with the establishment and happy to have found this place. read more

It's been a while since I've had a barber. I used to go monthly then started cutting my own hair. I'm particular about how it's cut and when I decided to do a different style and find a barber, I spent some time looking for a good fit. Finding Brixton I saw lots of great reviews. I set up an appointment with Nick. The shop was a little trickier to find than I expected, inside the salon building, but Nick was super welcoming and after offering me a drink got right to work. I had some ideas for what I wanted to do and Nick offered his input and ideas as well. Full cut, hair wash, hot towel, straight razor neck clean and style all for a great price and with a great barber. I went here for the first time and it was great. A little hard to find which made me late for my appointment. I finally found the place and was willing to reschedule but Matt said it wasn't a problem. Matt did an awesome job and really took his time even though his next appointment was already waiting. Prices here are great. I work in Downtown Denver and usually find a place close by which always costs me upwards of $50. I would definitely recommend this place to others! I went here on recommendation of the hotel staff. Nick was very professional and he clearly has cut a lot of hair. He asked me what I wanted and cut my hair as asked. They also have the hot towel treatment there, which is nice. Even offer drinks!
