Overpriced regular haircut especially for a child. Nothing was special about it. Just a haircut for over $20 for a 6 year old.

My partner and I have been seeing Matt for nearly a year and we always get a great haircut, great service and compliments on how we look. I highly recommend Matt, who is experienced and very talented. My partner has a favorite shampoo he uses and Matt went out of his way to pick some up so we did not have to go looking for it. The salon is always clean and you can relax and have a beer or other beverage to enjoy. He will even turn over his playlist if you have a style of music you prefer to hear during your visit. Kimber does fantastic haircuts and if you think anyone else can do better then you probably have a bad haircut. She makes sure I don't walk out with terribly brassy tones and fixes all the damage I do to it by constantly curling it. She also gives real advise on the best way to get what you want when you are being slightly unrealistic in your haircut and dye job fantasies. read more

Got my first cut at this salon just this Saturday! It was a great atmosphere. I couldn't have felt more comfortable. I just recently shaved my head and being a girl I didn't know what to expect from a male stylist. Matt was awesome! He listened to my concerns and helped me through deciding how to cut my hair. He is cool and collective and knows exactly what he's doing. I'm pretty sure one of the best parts of the service was the essential oil hot towel that he placed on my face during the shampooing. I got butchered the last two times I went to Great Clips. After getting awful haircuts from Great Clips and getting yelled at by my girlfriend, I decided to call Matt and give Brixton Barbers a try. Went in for a haircut and a beard trim. Spent 45 minutes getting my hair taken care of. These guys like what they do and they spend time on you and your haircut. I showed him a picture of how I wanted it (my old photo) and he knew exactly how the hair needed to be. Matt scissor cut the hair, trimmed my beard, gave me a Beard 101 lesson and had great conversations. It was topped off with a hot towel, shampoo, conditioner and wax. I was looking for a place near my work and being on County Line and Quebec, this place is easy to get to. This place has several salons all in one place. The Gentlemen's Lounge is your own private barber. He offered me a beer and it was just nice to spend 45 minutes relaxing and getting a true barber experience.
