The coaches Kru Julius, Kru Yai Michael, and Kru Hamed are the best. The new facility is beautiful. They have high quality equipment, and the mural done at the academy is top notch ! If you're looking for great training and great community to train with you have found your spot. I want to thank Janice again for making my experience seamless when I walked through the doors at spartan! 5

A large venue, and staff who cared to engage in crowd control. This location is much smaller and pure pandemonium! Kids running amock, with no supervision from staff. Too many people are allowed in at once, and it's not safe! Everyone should be jumping on their own trampoline, not running into others! I would never return to this location, unless they limited the number of guests, and actually supervised what is going on!

I would not recommend this school to future students. I took Hospitality Management. The teacher…read morewas very good in general. She is very knowledgeable and cares a great deal about her students. The lectures however were slightly dry because of the teaching materials the teacher was given. She tries to enrich the material by showing youtube videos that relates to the topic. Only critism I have about the teacher is she needs improvement in the English language and lecturing skills. There is a lot of "um" and "uh" in every sentence which makes it very difficult to focus on the point at times. The course is a very fast paced course and there are topics covered that there should be more time for. This course should not be taken if you don't actually have industry experience. Another reason this school would not be recommended is because of Management. They are unprofessional and hard to deal with. First of all, students do not know which management person is in charge of what duties unless it becomes necessary. Second, the Scarborough campus houses 2 different school however the policies are different for very small things like obtaining a student ID. Examples of unprofessionalism: Moving furniture during class hours loudly disturbing the classes that are running.

So far, I've tried 20/20/20, Hot Box Fusion, O2 Pump and Deep Stretch & Relaxation. My favorite is the deep stretch & relaxation class especially in a dimmed room with flameless candle lights all around. The far infrared allows me to get a really good stretch in. The first time I attended this class on a Saturday morning, I felt so relaxed after a hot shower that I did not want to leave my home. As for the other classes, I find a few similarities so am not a fan of that. A couple of things for improvement: I noticed that the classes do not start on time. It is very important that it starts at the exact minute it is supposed to. For the 20/20/20, somehow we didn't get to do the last 20 minutes which is supposed to be focused on stretching. The moves for all the classes should be called out more clearly. The instructor might want to ask the class to just watch when coming out of one move to the next so that the entire class is still & everyone can get a better view on what is exactly being done. It is very difficult for those who are not set up directly in front of the instructor to see what is going on. I never understood why all fitness classes don't use platforms for their instructors. It's also a bit strange to have the studio entrance in the same hallway as the front door. When we are all there waiting for the studio door to open, every time the front door opens, we are given a nice blast of freezing air. Lastly, the water foundations have room temperature water. I wish it could be nice and cool but easy for me to solve since I just put in a couple of ice cubes at home. I also agree that we are too closed together. It's not nice having my neighbor ask me to move from my spot so we don't touch each other. If it is a problem for them, they should be moving. Every time we are told to stretch our arms out to the side, I am worried about getting in someone's space. I do love the member experience associates though! Veronica, Neha and Ian are so lovely :)

There are plenty of fun playhouses and an apparatus for kids to play and have fun. Adults can spent time strolling around and enjoying the greenery. There are benches and places to sit if you want to people-watch. It housed a ton of ribfest vendors. I can see why many events end up being held here. It's a perfect place to have fun and relax. Parking can be a bit of a problem if there is an event. I had first thought about parking at the Port Credit Library lot, but it was full. Side street parking was crazy. I ended up landing a spot at the Port Credit GO and walking over to the park. I'd love to come back to this park, unwind, and see what it's like without the ribfest activities happening. I suspect that I should have an easier time finding parking. (273)
