CTYRES FAIL TO SUPPLY GOODS AND FAIL TO REFUND YOUR MONEY…read more I ordered my tyres on the telephone for fitting on the 8th October 2013, went to the fitting company they advertised and confirmed in their email, only to find that it no longer exists. Telephoned Bob @ Ctyres who agreed a refund as there was no other fitting company in my area. Have not received any confirmation email and have emailed twice since, surprise surprise no contact what so ever and no refund is forthcoming. Fortunately I paid by Credit Card so am now starting a dispute procedure. The ironic thing is I acquired the exact same tyres locally for £10.00 less. The hype by CTyres is completely untrue and anyone considering using them should beware because you will loose your money

My son is a new driver with his first car and he picked up a screw in his tyre. We took it to…read moreWharfedale (as I know them to be reliable and reasonable from my own experience, but this was another level). Not only was his tyre puncture fixed and put back on there and then for a very reasonable £15 but he took the time to show my son how to place the jack, work the 'key' for the nuts, how to not over tighten them when putting them back on. He even had us open the bonnet so he could go through what to check and what not to touch in the engine. I learnt a lot too! He also noted that he was pulling his handbrake up too high and explained about not doing this so as not over stretch the brake cables. What a great experience and a very kind gentleman who took the time to go way above what was required to help a new driver be safer on the road. He even said "Anything else you want to know about cars, just ask me". Super 5 stars without hesitation! Thank you - great service and kind people are still about.

Just behind the Economy Spare shop unit, is the little garage area…read more I would get my tyres changed here every time, if they could fit me in - but, I guess because they are such good value they often have a full work load on. If you can, then I would suggest booking in advance, but if not, then just pop in - but they may not be able to fit you in. They stock a full range of value and high end tyres and will advise on what you need, they won't automatically try and sell you the most expensive top of the range tyre of you don't need or want that. They will sort out the fitting of the tyre as well as replacing the wheel and the spares back in the right place. A1 service!

I personally will not…read morebe going there again £160 for a full service (without any work doing, and no mot) seems a bit high to me for a vw golf. They have done some good work on my car in the past so wont slate them off entirely. I have had strange addititional problems occur whenvever i have left my car here in the past, like for example one 2 years ago replaced the driver side wing mirror unit and they seemed to break the lock on that side which they wouldn't own up too. Also unlike some other garages your car doesn't seem to feel any better after a service at this place.
