The office has a few puzzles and activities in the waiting area to keep kids busy, and the treatment rooms have TVs with children's shows to help distract them during exams. It's also very easy to call and cancel or reschedule appointments. They're understanding and not overly strict, which makes things much less stressful. The only downside is that the front desk staff could be a bit more personable, but overall we've had a great experience here. The best part is at the end -- the kids get a coin to use in the bubblegum machine to pick out a little toy. My kids look forward to this every visit!

There was no clear explanation, no follow-up, and no accountability for the results. Overall, this was an awful experience, and I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. There are far better professionals out there who actually care about their patients.

I must say that I was very impressed and it met my expectations, and beyond. When we first walked in, the front desk reception sent us to two sinks in the back to wash our hands, as it is their practice for everyone to wash their hands upon entering and to also wears masks. We came around Christmas time and Santa was there taking free pictures with the children and the center was decorated festively. You can tell they really enjoy making the children happy and feel welcomed. There were children crying during their cleaning, but they have many strategies to attempt to calm them. For example, they painted my daughters nails during her cleaning to distract her. They also gave her a teddy bear to clean it's teeth. As well as even though she was not comfortable laying the normal way on the medical bed, and preferred to lay sideways, the dentist followed her and cleaned her teeth where ever she was calm and comfortable. The staff is also diverse culturally. There is a free parking lot out front with ample spaces. So far, I will be back and this will be our pediatric dentist.

From the paperwork all the way to the night guard at the end. They replaced both of my front teeth with crowns and used some new fangled high tech scanner computer to take 3-D scans of my teeth for the process. But it's not just this procedure that stands out. I mean, they came out better than I expected by far. But. I have been seeing Dr. Toyer and Dr. Toyer and their team for five years now. I can't remember a single doctors office ever that I've felt more at home. Everyone knows you by name. The pride Dr. Toyer takes in his work is evident from the start to the finish. And he's real hip too. Completely up to tomorrow on the newest tech to make your procedure a breeze. Oh and they do amazing with pediatrics. My toddlers love going to see them! My daughter had a major procedure done here today and Evie, Aritza and two other ladies (I don't recall their names) made it so amazingly smooth. I said okay well the second one is in network so I wanted to proceed with setting up an appointment as we are just looking for preventive care but she acted like she couldn't schedule it. I never heard of this before but she said it's office policy. Even if the first insurance isn't in network, isn't it called coordination of benefits? So my second one would then be billed and then it would be covered as I am just looking for cleanings for a 4 and 2 year old. I'm legit in HR and still couldn't believe or understand how she was being so resistant to a potential new patient. I guess they don't want new patients. Be sure then to update your website and specify exactly that Aetna is only covered if you had Connection Dental or whatever she said on the card. I will go to find another practice because it just felt like if they are doing this already, they most likely will suck when it comes to billing. Wasn't like I didn't have insurance at all; and also why couldn't I even get scheduled like I couldn't pay out of pocket. They definitely need customer service training!

The staff member collected my information but ultimately stated she was unsure if my insurance was accepted and that someone would follow up the next day. By the end of the following day, I had not received any call, text, or update. I reached out again and went through the same process, only to be given the same response. I asked whether I had reached a call center or the office directly and was informed that I was speaking with the office. I explained that this was my second time experiencing the same interaction. I was then told that during my initial call, my information was likely not documented, which was quite concerning. I requested to speak with a manager. Shortly after, the same staff member returned to the line and stated that my insurance was, in fact, accepted--an answer that only came after I requested escalation. I reiterated my request to speak with a manager, at which point Carla identified herself as the manager. Carla attributed the initial issue to a call center, but when I pointed out that I received the same response during my follow-up call, she explained that the staff member was new. Unfortunately, Carla did not demonstrate a sense of accountability or urgency regarding the situation. Her response conveyed that this experience was not a significant concern, which was disappointing and did not reflect a high standard of customer service. Overall, this experience left me with little confidence in the organization's communication and administrative processes.
