We were tearing down a very small/old deck and wanted to replace it with one that went the length of our home. We had 3 other contractors come for an estimate and gave us some obnoxious pricing for a plain rectangular deck with no bells or whistles. When Brian came over, he listened to what we wanted and then asked if he could design something different. He drew up a rough design on a napkin and it blew our minds. In addition, Brian offered to build us a pergola, a privacy wall and a bar table included in our price. No other contractor offered anything different than a plain square design. Once the project started, his crew worked fast and the quality of design was way more than we expected. All the corners were rounded and he framed out the exterior portion of the deck for a nicer look. What impressed us the most is that Brian offered us upgrades that would have a better look and without seeing it, he was able to imagine things that we couldn't even think of. We took the extra upgrades even though it cost more and Brian was right, every upgrade we did made the deck look so great. Brian worked with us throughout the process and when we requested something, he made it happen. He figured out how to make it work. We could not be happier with his customer service, his craftmanship and the overall experience. We have had friends and family over and everyone was speechless when it came to his design and quality. Deck Doc just finished power washing, sanding and staining my deck, and I am 100% satisfied with…read moretheir work. I scheduled the work around last November, as I wanted my deck to be refinished and looking good for the full 2025 season. The first days with decent weather in late April the deck was washed, and by early May the deck was finished. A crew of 2 worked a full day power washing and bleaching the deck and 2 sections of yard fencing. Every part of the deck was thoroughly cleaned, including areas not normally visible, and all areas of the deck that were surrounded by bushes. Within about a week, as soon as we had a few sunny days and warmer weather, a crew of three worked a full day sanding and staining the deck and fence. The deck floor was power sanded, and all other surfaces were hand sanded, before all sawdust was carefully blown away and stain was applied. Deck Doc did an outstanding job, and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Communications regarding scheduling were excellent, work was done competently and on the days and at the times promised. The area around the deck was left completely clean when work was completed. Thank you for making my deck look like new.

They also were excellent at answering our many questions in advance of the work, which was plaster repair in several rooms of an early 1900's house where we had cracks and bulging plaster with a few holes. Our technician was Kevin, who was amazing - super personable and friendly, thorough, great at communicating with us along the way and explaining progress, cleaned up well every evening of a multi-day job, and did beautiful work. I'm only including a few pictures (before/after) from the staircase and office but the results were awesome everywhere and the paint match to existing colors we had that are 10+ years old was impressive! We also had a scope change during the project and the new quote was very fair. Highly recommend this team!
