Bristol boiler company does not respect the customer or his time.
The saying goes: "you can do something good, fast or cheap." Well, this business defies that saying because they are both bad, slow and expensive.
To write an objective review, I have made use of services from another company so that I can compare them accordingly.
Summary of what went wrong:
2nd quote was 20% higher than the initial quote. For reference, the final quote was £996, the same work was done by another company for £490. Keep in mind, this did not include the cost of the water cylinder itself.
I have first enquired about the installation on 14/09/2021 and agreed to installation on 08/10/2021, as of 23/12/2021 the work still hasn't been started. If I was still interested, it would be allegedly at least another month before it commenced.
I have called the office around 25 times, most times I was promised a callback which I didn't receive for a few days and had to reach out again.
After scheduling time and date to access the property for a quote, someone only came over on the 4th time (stood up 3 times with no notice).
After scheduling the day for installation someone only came over on the 2nd date (stood up the first time with no notice).
After assessing the property the engineer had advised me to get a model that was bigger than the one I had initially planned to use and enquired about installing (planned small, advised large, purchased medium).
After coming over to install for the 2nd time (27th Nov) after failing to do the work on (11th Nov) as planned, I was informed that the model was physically too big for space let alone in line with safety guidelines from the manufacturer.
Because the work was not done on the day planned, 2 weeks had passed since the purchase of the appliance and I was no longer able to return it through normal returns.
