It was already full by this stage and had a constant stream of locals grabbing donuts for the morning. We ordered a ham and cheese croissant, egg and bacon bun and a coffee. The coffee was fantastic. Could not fault. The bun and croissant were delicious, the scramble in the bun was especially good. We sat was a little watching the steady stream come and go before grabbing some take away baked goods. We got all 3 donuts flavours with the favourite being hot cross bun donut. Donut dough with sultanas and filled with custard. Amazing! We also grabbed a choc chip marshmallow cookie. The size of my hand and absolutely delicious. I could live off these! Moderate room inside to sit and a few tables out. All the food is able to be taken away and it also runs as a standard bakery with beautiful artisan breads. We will definitely be back soon and it's now our go to place to pick up treats when visitors come over.

The regular croissant was good , but honestly it was very similar to what we normally get at the South Melbourne Market. The almond croissant, however, was amazing..incredibly rich and flavorful. The caramelized one was the standout for me. It was easily the best one we tried. The texture and flavor were incredible. Also, this is a pretty average price of a croissant or pastries at most coffee shops in the states, especially considering it's located next to Chanel and Dior. The line was out the door and down the block, but moved impressively quickly. I was through the line within 5 minutes, and had my croissants and coffee within 3 minutes, then was on my way to food heaven. Now to the croissants. I think I half expected these to be over-hyped because of the bougie location and who's who status of these croissants. Literally 4 different people on my walk back to the hotel, and a girl in the elevator saw the bag and asked if I had ever tried these before. Luna is THAT girl. Luna IS the instagram influencer. Starting with the impossibly glossy exterior, then I started into the first layer. Layer by layer flaking off one by one until you start to reach the perfect buttery soft, stretchy layers inside that melt in your mouth, one by one. It was marvelous. Frenchies don't come for me, but this rivaled any croissant I had in my travels through the French countryside, (except they weren't $1.50). Their is no shortage of what's available to pick from. The Dame Edna with cream with subtle and light enough. The vanilla slices are massive, the biscuits are always a huge hit. It seems most of the Beechworth Bakeries offer bottomless coffee and tea. The Healesville café is a huge space that people are always bustling in and out of.
