Whenever I asked what was wrong or what had happened they would brush it off and no one knew anything. I moved her to another preschool and she started thriving socializing and not being anxious for school. My daughter is kind and to see this school take away her smile was unacceptable. They are based in San Diego and host in person events, while offering a very flexible schedule of multiple courses Monday through Saturday via Zoom. I was really nervous, having gone almost 25 years without using my Spanish, but from the first class, it was clear, this program was going to be perfect. It is remarkably organized and versatile, with a variety of professors who are each so knowledgeable, warm, and capable of creating such a safe space for students of all levels to feel comfortable enough to make mistakes and learn without shame or judgment. I've now been a student for exactly one year and have managed to advance two levels, feel way more confident when I want to speak Spanish, and am recognizing how much I am able to understand a lot more than I thought I could. The layout and setup are structured so well that it feels both professional yet fun; and thus far, every in person and virtual event I've attended has been excellent. I look forward to each class, the homework assignments are quite helpful and manageable for working adults, and I've actually been able to make new friends and feel a lot more confident socializing with locals in the program. It's definitely the program I recommend when folks ask me where they should get (re)started on Spanish. I'm looking forward to advancing further and connecting with more PBO folks.

Year after year, my girls have been helped cope the challenges they've faced and their grades have reflected the benefit of this center. According to the signed refund document, CLA was required to return the refundable portion of his payment, which is $575. The refund deadline was at the end of August. Today is September 20, and the $575 refund still has not been received. I am attaching the signed refund document confirming the refund amount. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend CLA. Be very careful before making any payments -- you may have serious difficulty getting your refundable money back.
