Absolutely terrible experience with Budget Blinds…read more I was promised a two week turnaround when I placed my order. Two weeks came and went with ZERO communication. When I finally called, I was told, casually, that my order was on backorder. No update, no heads up, nothing. Then, unbelievably, they scheduled an installation without mentioning that only HALF of my order had even arrived. I didn't find that out until the installers were standing in my home, ready to install a partial order. How does a company think that's acceptable? It gets worse. When I called to address the situation, the customer service was shockingly unprofessional. The woman I spoke with, Karen, was rude, dismissive, and openly irritated that I was upset. She actually huffed at me while I was explaining the issue. When I pointed out they already had my full payment, she snapped back with a condescending response about only having "half our money" as if that somehow excuses their complete lack of communication and organization. This isn't a minor mistake, this is a pattern of incompetence: missed timelines, zero communication, disorganized scheduling, and outright disrespect toward customers. If you value your time, money, or sanity, avoid Budget Blinds. There are plenty of companies out there that can at least manage the basics, this clearly isn't one of them.
