They have worked with us and listened to our feedback to find caregivers who are a good fit for our family members. We have tried other agencies in Tucson, and none have come close to the quality of service and care we have received from Catalina.

I have recently taken over caring for my brother who suffered a severe brain injury, and all I can say is that it was nightmare. They send out people on a temporary basis which is not good in my situation. I told them to stop sending temps to my home because my brother does not do good with change and with soooo many people coming in. They said they were going to hire someone specifically for my brother, it took about 8 weeks for them to send someone out meanwhile, I am exhausted! They send the woman out and the first day I thought she's great! Over a couple of days she's falling asleep and absolutely, could not wait to put him to bed, she determined he was tired, that's my families job, not hers. I could go on and on. Finally, I was told they would no longer help me. I absolutely could not believe it, I am continuing to struggle finding help. I would not recommend this company.

SCAM ARTISTS! If you or your loved one needs care stay as far away from this company as possible…read more THEY CONSTANTLY CANCEL. They will tell you they have ordered or taken care of something only to find out days or a week later, nothing was done. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! BUYER BEWARE!

The Supervisor JAMIE is CHILDISH and disrespectful to the MAX. ** I'm going to take ANY AND ALL the proper measures to report this company further for disciplinary actions. ** The root of all concerns and issues resulted from the Supervisor JAMIE. Jamie literally took it upon herself to wait till the first weekend of services to be so inappropriate and disrespectful to the client that was needing care. While the Client was in NEED of immediate wound care, to avoid an infection. Jamie rudely disconnected the numerous of calls the client attempted to make in request of immediate Wound care. Jamie interrupted and spoke over the client, she literally disconnected the calls after stating " blah blah blah blah blah When you're ready to speak to me you can call back and speak to me" #Click and she hung up. I called back and asked to speak to a manager or supervisor Jamie said, "I am the supervisor and no you cannot speak to anyone else." Again, she disconnected the call. The homecare nurse Carlie, she provided my clients wound care changes now the only disagreement we had was that she asked if we would participate with their new AI Assistant ROGER it records the entire visit and transcribes the visit into a visit summary. we denied this service. at first as we disagreed to comply with the AI Assistant recording the visit. there was some attitude from the Nurse. But we were on content terms as she left the first visit. Upon the second visit as Carlie provided wound care, we had no known concerns, disagreements or issues. she communicated with the DR as we requested for updated wound care dressing orders to be updated and modified per DRS ORDERS with specific instructions as to what supplies to use and such. The orders were updated. Then all of a sudden as I stated before over the weekend as the answering service customer serv. name was LESLEY she even heard the supervisor speaking to the client in a very rude manner, but Jamie advised her that she had no business on the call and demanded that Lesley disconnect the call, even after I specifically had requested for Lesley to monitor the call to record or reference to the un professional measures of service that was being conducted by a Supervisor. Jamie then took it upon herself to WITH OUT A DRS ORDER OR CONFIRMATION OF A DR (BETTER YET W/O NOTIFYING THE DR) JAMIE TOOK IT UPON HER OWN SELF TO discharge the client of services and falsely notated the reason being because the client was "HOSTILE".

Our uncle was cared for at his home by Arista for over a year. His nearest relatives--two of…read moreus--are on the East coast. It was his choice to live in the state he loved (AZ), and as he aged, we very consciously spent more and more time with him, alternating visits traveling there multiple times every year for long visits. We were also in daily contact with him by phone and email, and his very close friends--who also became ours--called us immediately if they were concerned about him. I have a master's degree in nursing and attended many visits with him with his doctors. All of that is to say that, despite living far away, we had a close relationship with him, his tight-knit group of local friends, and stayed very knowledgeable about him and his needs over decades, not just months. The hospice he used before Arista treated us as team members with easy communication back and forth, always including him. He changed to Arista to follow a beloved care provider, a move we supported. But at Arista, there was a palpably hostile attitude in administration toward coordinating and communicating with us and that intermittently flowed downstream to care providers. We held both his POA and MPOA and had witnessed in person, at his invitation, his advanced care directives and related documents--evidence of his ongoing trust. Nevertheless, we were clear from Arista our involvement was neither wanted nor needed re: his physical, emotional, spiritual or social care, a notably different approach than with the hospice before Arista or the hospice that followed Arista. Both of those recognized the strong relationship and welcomed us by phone and in person as his family and resources who could help bridge information on his life and health history. It may be a different experience for those who live in the same area as the hospice patient, but if you live far away, I would not recommend Arista. For whatever reason, they were clearly not interested in family involvement. When relatives age, family bonds can suffer if not fostered. For whatever reason, Arista clearly didn't see that as a goal. We were with him in his last days, surrouded by the incredible support of a different hospice, and it was clear to us he was relieved as well, as he'd already quietly told us that--while he enjoyed Arista staff and knew they were dedicated--the care was "not the best."

Caring, compassionate and competent caregivers. Dedicated staff both in the office and the field.read more
