The folks here are angels from heaven. They could not be more helpful, compassionate, and caring. This includes the front office staff, nurses, aides, doctors, etc. They truly understand end of life care, and ensuring dignity and pain free for the patient is top of mind. They offer many services including grief counseling. I can't recommend them enough or thank them enough for what they've done for my family.

My nurse practitioner, Felicia, must have come straight from Heaven, such a caring and compassionate person is few and far between. We spent 2 hours together for our first meeting, and the care she coordinated for me is just AWESOME! I really never expected such caring people to be in my life. Even Rose, who answers the phone and coordinates service is a wonderful human being. You don't have to have imminent death to qualify for palliative care and I wish more people would take advantage of this. The relief I felt, knowing that Felicia was fighting for me was just plain wonderful. I would give them 100 stars if I could and I don't think I have said that about any business I have reviewed on Yelp!

When you are reviewing Hospice, it is difficult to get excited when crafting a review. I would be…read moreremiss, however, if I did not share my recent 2 week experience with Emblem with others who may one day need exceptional care for a loved one. It was determined quickly, upon a move to Sierra Del Sol Memory Care, that my Mom needed supplemental hospice care. Joanne from Emblem happened to be at this community while I was talking to the Wellness Director, so she connected the two of us. From the moment I first talked to Joanne, until the moment my Mom passed (2 weeks), this group provided all of us with the most caring support. Joanne took charge with our family who knew nothing of hospice care, addressing all the details, assigning a team to our Mom and family and really just being there when it mattered most. Every single person we came into contact with; Joanne, Norma, Bob, Kate and Jody were caring, supportive and best in class in roles that take special kinds of people to do. My Mom passed pretty quickly, all things considered, when Emblem thankfully dropped into our lives. My experience with Jody the duty RN, in the last 16 hours of my Moms life, was beyond describable. I almost felt like she was part of my family and cared about my Mom as much as we all did. She in particular, along with the entire team helped us through an incredibly difficult time.

If you're reading this, I'm so sorry for what is going on in your life because it means all is not…read moreright in your world and it's time to admit you gave it a good fight but it's time to let go ~ either for you or your loved one. TMC Hospice, or Peppi's House as it is officially known, is an amazing hospice full of caring, loving people who want nothing more than to help you manage your pain as you ease in to the next life. The facility is gorgeous with four separate wings or pods, each housing four spacious, private rooms and access to a private walled in garden patio where the patient's bed can be wheeled outside. Each of the pods has a large family room with kitchenettes, TVs, big comfy couches and computers. A small chapel is housed within Peppi's House as well. A large labyrinth is on the grounds and open to the public. It's a wonderful, healing and meditative place to walk and gather your thoughts. The staff and volunteers are the most caring and respectful people I've come across in a long time. My husband was treated with such love and there was no patronizingly forced niceness or insincerity. Even in his final hours, our nurses spoke to him with love and kindness in their voices. They were never in the way and gave family members the time and space that was needed. Hospice is such an incredible and personal service and as odd as it is to say, I highly recommend Peppi's House if this is the path you're on.
