I was placed at Ridgecrest Post Acute for rehab. I was there 3 weeks and I stayed in my room with…read morethe door closed, as it was so noisy from elderly patients crying for help to nurses talking very loidly between themselves. Two different days my call button didn't work. I had to get out of bed go to nurses station to ask for pain meds. There were several CNA's that went the extra mile to help me. Michelle, Genese, Chloe, Sandra did their jobs and made me feel I mattered! The PT/OT dept was awesome. They helped me get over my fears of falling over curbs. They even took me outside to conquer my fear! Cheryl, PT and Stephanie, OT are especially good at their job! Another real problem is the food! Some days it was hardly edible. How can someone get well without proper nutrition? I hope I never have to return there!

If I could give negative stars I would. I'm posting this review for my 70 year old mother who…read morearrived at this facility post-injury and after leaving Banner Thunderbird. I would not recommend this facility. The response time for the call button for anything my mom needed was between 10-25 minutes, IF anyone ever came to help. The facility left a wheelchair in her room and allowed my mom to use it to wheel herself, unassisted, into the bathroom when she needed assistance with a walker to get strength in her leg after a hip surgery. I requested it be removed so my mom would have to use the walker to strengthen her leg and the wheelchair was never got removed. My mother could have been seriously injured. She said she needed to do it herself because no one ever came after she would click the assistance button. This is unacceptable for a "rehabilitation facility" and I use that term loosely. My mother is diabetic and I told 3 different people this information, including the social services dept., her direct nurse and the liaison before we arrived. She was given sugary food the entire time and high carb meals. We had to beg for a shower for her when she arrived and the employee that cared at all to ever help my mom was Susie, an aide. The nurses never smiled and spent more time joking and laughing at the nurses station than they did assisting patients. On any given visit when I arrived, there would be several (more than 5 lights lit up) patients needing assistance. Additionally, they were NEVER quiet at the station, even late into the night. The overall morale from the good employees was obviously very bad due to work load. We were told by one of these good employees that showers for patients are put off until she arrives. Upon leaving, I had to ask several times to get help getting her to the car, when Susie (the best employee there) offered to help. She was awesome. The other staff - AWFUL. In fact, when I left, paperwork with HIPPA info was inadvertently included in my mom's discharge papers. Wow. Do NOT allow your loved ones to be left alone at this facility. One reviewer said an investigation needs to be done on this place and I AGREE 100%.

As a former healthcare worker myself i found this place to be very inviting and the staff here cares about their patients very much. the care quality is very good and at times surpases expectations. food here is good and they do try to cater to everyone's nutritional needs. As far as the nursing management they are excellent neil, mindy, miranda, and katie are all very kind and caring when it comes to patients needs. They are all like brother and sisters to me thats how close we have became because they care. if i have a complaint they act quickly to resolve it. All in all this place make you feel like family and they strive to do all they can to make you feel right at home. the therapy dept. they work with you and strive to get you feeling great again. I've been to other facilities and this place come out on top as more respectful and inviting and cares about every individual. To sum up this place in all i can say in my 4yrs here i feel very comfortable and valued. Again as a former healthcare worker this place either meets or exceeds my expectations. the rest of shea parc team are excellent i have no problems with them and the to also try to make every patient feel right at home. my father is a patient here to and i brought him in here for medical treatment long term because he is in the right hands and the DON team ( director of nursing ) always make sure his needs are met. like i said i've been to other places and none of them felt right, here your like family. Neil, miranda, katie and mindy again treat me and others with respect and dignity and like i said they are my brother and sisters. and if i had a brother or sisters they would be it. resident, Steven T.

There was not much rehabilitation happening. One hour during the week maybe. Unless you are there all day advocating for your loved one... they won't get what they need. He was there for almost 2 weeks and barely had any progress. He began feeling terrible one night. When I arrived there , it was an extreme difference from the day before. I wanted to take him to the hospital and the doctor there just wanted to do an xray and do some labs. I insisted and the kind nurse helped us make it happen. His kidney's had shut down and he needed dialysis. If we had stayed there he would probably have died.

Though my parent enjoys it at the Manor, I've been concerned about continuous increases in the rent and fees, especially the latest increase of just shy of 15%! This latest increase seems to have pushed residents "over the edge," with several now moving out to nicer and cheaper alternatives. The Manor seems to have also lost several good and caring employees that we really liked. I'm starting to get concerned about the trends I've been witnessing. I hope these trends don't continue.

We were looking for a facility where more eyes would be on her and she could get Care if she needed it. We toured many independent/assisted living facilities in the Scottsdale and Phoenix area. When we walked in the door at Manor Village, we knew we had found Moms new home. We were greeted by Wesley Wilkins who provided us with a tour and as we moved throughout the building, Wesley knew all the residents that we came in contact with as well as employees. You could tell he really enjoys his job and every employee we talk with had a smile on their face. The entire building had a wonderful vibe and the residence we interacted with were so welcoming and friendly. We feel confident that if any emergency or care is needed, Mom is in the right place. It is now been a couple of months since she moved in and we could not be any happier. It has been such a positive experience and I would highly recommend Manor Village if you're looking for a facility that will treat your loved one like family. We want to give a special shout out to the following employees who have made my mom's move such a success. Wesley, Lisa, JoAnna, Medhia, & Abria.

It is important to note that This facility is actually located in Mesa, not Scottsdale. Advanced Health care is INCREDIBLE! I am only 55 and even though I look and feel 35 (if I do say so myself) I am already looking into making darn sure I have the right insurance in place so whenever a time comes that I need to be admitted to an inpatient rehab facility, I can make sure I have the ability to choose this place. My mother has straight medicare with a supplement. We learned the HARD WAY about advantage plans after her stroke 2 years ago. Advantage plans are disgusting, worthless options and I would never recommend anyone who is over the medicare age of 75 to be on anything other than straight medicare with a quality supplement plan . But that is a review for another time and place. Advanced Health Care is five stars all the way. The staff is attentive, caring, professional, friendly and work hard to make sure your loved one is welcomed and made comfortable from the moment they arrive. The therapists are amazing. They make sure your loved one works hard from day one so they can get back as much of their old life as possible once they leave. I researched the facility and discovered that it is owned by Larry H Miller. He must've built this place in honor of his parents or either he's just an incredibly phenomenal human being because this place is as close to perfect as homemade apple pie and the fourth of July. The building and interior is designed to look and feel just like a warm and cozy, well cared for home. The beautiful stone fireplace, the living room set-up, the little library and dining room area is very well decorated. The private rooms are nice and big and decorated in warm, Earth-toned colors. The whole facility feels exactly like you could be in your own home. It isn't sterile or cold or unfriendly feeling. I highly recommend this cozy, intimate, quiet rehab facility for anyone needing care or for anyone concerned with leaving a loved one in the care of others for several weeks at a time. You will feel good about your decision I promise you.

The most frustrating part has been my interaction with my main therapist post appointment. He assigned exercises in an online portal that comes with videos but one exercise had a broken video, which still hasn't been fixed, and many of the exercises don't tell you what the target muscles are. Furthermore, there is a feedback section with each exercise: I filled out some question after my first workout and never heard back. After contacting my therapist about this he told me it's better to do via email, which isn't very convenient. What's the point of the feedback section.
