It is nice in the beginning being able to check in over the web cam. My kids were always so excited to see their friends from school walking around the neighborhood. They also developed great foundational skills, learning their alphabet, letter sound relationships, counting and some Spanish and sign language. They loved the weekly visits from the music/ASL teacher. The teachers also helped greatly with potty training once we started at home. It was also great knowing that lunch and snacks were taken care of and that our kids were trying new foods.

It is evident that she really cares about the happiness and development of the babies and their parents. The staff at PSD are also a delight to see daily: they open the front door and welcome our baby every morning with huge warm smiles and hugs. Our baby LOVES seeing the caretakers, and she basically shoos me away with a "bye-bye" so she can begin her day at school. The environment is always wonderful. It is located in an apartment space so it feels like a home, informal, welcoming, and calm, yet also very professional. There are two music classes a week, art work (today we were sent home with an adorable handprint snowflake), sensory activities, neighborhood walks, grocery shopping trips, and ample free play where the babies learn to socialize. All in all, I highly recommend this daycare. It's a hidden gem that all the moms in the neighborhood know, but sadly doesn't have as much social media presence that it deserves. With small class sizes and true 1:2 adult to child ratios, they are able to take such good care of every child and we are so grateful to them for helping our child become the sweet, funny, chatty, charming, outgoing, kind and thoughtful little toddler / little boy he is becoming. Their structure (meals, snacks, walks, naps, playtime), programs (art work, language, sign language, music, incoming specialty teachers) and superior level of care and concern are unmatched. Our son has learned so much from Mirna, Yurkenia, Rebecca, Lily and the outside teachers that come in on a regular basis. He often surprises us with a song, sign or knowledge of a color or animal.
