This family run business has a very welcoming feel to it as staff really do go the extra mile to serve. Prices are competitive and there is the choice of going up to the business premises, or having supplies delivered. If they don't have what you need, they will do their utmost to source it for you. They sell a wide range of products and will be upfront about prices and quality. Problems are dealt with in an appropriate manner and in a timely fashion. I went in one day looking for a card when i happened to be passing. It is down next to a sunbed shop, a housing office and a pub so i imagine it doesn't get too much passing trade. It is so cut inside; bright, white and airy and smelling of all the gorgeous goodies on the shelves. I spotted loads of things i liked. Cute little teapots, Arran Aromatic style toiletries, wicker baskets, glittery gift tags and a gorgeous wee range of baby things. There are a few really unusual wedding gift ideas and other gifts for all occasions including birthdays, christenings and engagements. I bought a friend's baby a little ceramic letter 'J' for his bedroom door, adorned with a cute mouse in a Green jumper and she loved it. It was a really unusual thing to find! I also ordered a handmade ceramic glittery name plaque for a little girls first birthday, which i had personalised and ready for me to collect in two weeks. They even have a Yankee Candle stand, which i adore! The staff are lovely, inviting and very helpful and they always seem to have time to chat. They also have a range of washing machines, tumble dryers and cookers/ovens. We were looking and it was not long until a member of staff came up to ask if we required assitance we advised we were looking and that was accepted which was a nice change, no hard sale! They also stock various electricals tv's toasters and compueter games for the various consoles at standard prices. They had a few items on sale but nothing much to bother with.

We were "booked" for a tumble drier repair under warranty for Tuesday 29 October. RDA changed this to Friday 1 November between 8am and 6pm. We waited in all day but no one appeared. I telephoned RDA at 4pm to be told he was "on the way" but they would ask him to give us a call "when he is near". No one called and no Engineer ever arrived. A completely wasted and annoying day, and still not able to use the relatively new drier. Great service, which I shall make known to the manufacturer. B.Hall

I can only say that Rda has been more than reliable while fixing my fridge freezer. Unfortunately my f/freezer could not be fixed so after 10 engineer visits I can thoroughly recommend them on being dependable and willing to try to get things working.
