The team stated that they didn't have a drill bit for brick (not sure how on that big truck) and had to run and get some (another hour billed for lunch for all I know...) but when getting this bill, it had $200 of tools on it including extension cords, etc. What is really irritating is that I had to insist on an itemized bill to find all of this out. I called to schedule yearly inspection and was told basically, I was no longer a customer. I went to high school with Mike. Bought things for him at an auction. My house showed a leak so they cut off my gas and would not turn it on until the leak was fixed. I have always used Bevills Pluming so I called them for an estimate. This was in the winter and it was cold. The estimate was $7000.00 to replace the gas line. Trusting them I accepted the deal. After the fact I got an invoice showing the actual cost of $3200.00. Unlike his tv ads he does not look after the customer. Bevills is in the business of gouging customers that are in a pinch.

At first, we thought it might be the high ceilings and the frigid air outside but, with zero and -1 coming, we thought we should call Michael. We called earlier today and he came today. He came, diagnosed the issue, and we have nice toasty warm air! His attention to detail, knowledge, and explanations on how this heat pump thing works are amazing. He knows his stuff for sure. And he's a dang nice man to boot! Very reasonably priced and honest! We won't call anyone but Michael and Evolution. You should call him too!

We had used them once before and their work was fine and price seemed reasonable. Their technician arrived and was pleasant and within 10 minutes had located a popped GFI so he pushed the button, told me I'd receive an invoice and left. Today I received the invoice and it was $150. For a 10 minute service call. I called the company and was told by Eddie that to "fire up a truck and send someone out" was $150 and that everyone else charged at least that and as much as $200 for the same thing. So I called Lone Star Electric and i asked them hypothetically what they would charge for the same exact call and they told me $95. Then I called another company and got the same $95 quote. I just reviewing exactly what my experience was with Best Electric so others will be aware of the exorbitant price difference before making a decision.
