I took them back, and they acknowledged it was from their process. They assured me they would fix them. I went back to pick them up on the day I was told they would be ready and they were not done. I went back to pick them up-they've had them for a week now and was told again they were not ready. Later they called me to pick them up expressing that the pants were ready. When I got there they had the pants in the plastic hanging up-the stain was still there. I pointed this out and no one would take accountability. They blamed the black lining in the pants and wanted me to sign a waiver. Not once did they take ownership and responsibility. The lady at the counter began to tell me she has to do many jobs at the cleaners and she's overwhelmed. This not the proper response to ruining someone's garment. I would not recommend them to anyone and would urge other customers to find a new cleaner.

One of my cotton dresses had a 'special attention' tag on it to indicate they couldn't get a stain out. I could not see any stain but what I did see was an imprint of about a third of an iron!!!!! That's such a basic mistake, and it's not as if it was a delicate material either. Do not use this dry cleaners if you value your clothes. If I could have given negative stars I would have, and it's such a shame as they used to be exceptional.

I brought in three items (a scarf, a sweatshirt, and a pair of pajamas) to be embroidered for my honeymoon. I was very specific about the details--monogram placement, font, and even requested that my name be done in all lowercase. Unfortunately, every item was done incorrectly. The monogram on the scarf was placed upside down (so when worn, it read incorrectly), and both the sweatshirt and pajamas were embroidered in the wrong font and not in lowercase as requested. When I brought this to their attention, I was told the original items could not be corrected and would need to be replaced and re-embroidered. To their credit, they agreed to repurchase the items. However, when I returned to pick them up, none of the items had been embroidered at all--and the pajamas provided were not even the correct pair. At that point, I requested a refund for the embroidery services I never received. I was told the employee present was unable to process a refund. I had to insist on getting something in writing stating that I would be refunded, but I have little confidence this will actually happen. I have not received a phone call, email, or any other communication to try to rectify the issue or send a refund. I've since filed a dispute with my bank. Between the repeated errors, lack of attention to detail, and inability to resolve the issue properly, this was an incredibly frustrating experience--especially given that these items were meant for a special occasion. I would not recommend this business based on my experience. The level of inaccuracy and lack of follow-through here is simply unacceptable.

Five shirts took less than an hour, which, in the greater scheme of things, is not such a huge time commitment, but there was always something I'd rather be doing. So I thought I'd find a cleaners near my house that could do this onerous chore for me. This place is one of a few dry cleaners nearby, but it has the advantage of being in the same plaza as my home-base Stop and Shop, so I gave them first dibs. Over the past couple of months they've done a good job cleaning and pressing my shirts. I'm sure other places would do just as good a job, though. I will say the staff is always friendly, polite and professional when I've dropped off and picked up. The woman who is there most frequently calls me by name (Mr. L) every time I come in, which is always nice. I did stop by a place near my office to compare prices and Courtesy is a few pennies more expensive, but I don't see that as a reason to change cleaners seeing as I don't have any complaints otherwise.
