This is a family run business and they take great pride in what they do. The son, Luc, deals mostly with the customers, while his mother and father do the magic in their onsite workshop. They are easy to deal with, and work with you to make sure you get the result you want (from choice of fabrics to the finished product). Ronnie the owner said that the entire headliner would have to be replaced. He said that the plastic frame has to be removed and re-installed with the headliner. He also said that as the sponge that the headliner is glued to has deteriorated. I first thought that I may be able to glue it or be able to pin it back with screw pins as some people on the web had commented. More browsing and by also trying the invisible screw pins, I realized this didn't work. I also realized that even though only the edges had come out the middle was loose as well. I took my Mazda back to Ronnie and he did an amazing job. It looks as good as new now. Ronnie is extremely nice as well. I won't hesitate taking my vehicle to Ronnie again.

Dodman's did not return my calls after he phoned me and told me that his employee phoned in sick. The owner tried to fit the cover himself And really botched this simple job. I ended up driving in to the business 4 times to talk with the owner and on the 4th time I took the seat back. I took my seat and cover to Gledstone Upholstery in Cloverdale and they installed the cover with no issues in under a week. It looks great! I have dealt with Dodman's for over 30 years and with them being beside Burnaby Kawasaki you would have thought that their work with motorcycle seats would be good. I think the motorcycle seat expertise is no longer there and I will never be back. Don't take your motorcycle seat to Dodman's.

I don't often post reviews, however this time the service met all my expectations. We're very pleased with the final product. It took a little longer than anticipated but worth the wait. Their fabric selection was one of the best in terms of variety and options. Staff was helpful and friendly. They worked with our requested wood paint selection. Apparently it wasn't the normal type of finish and there was an extra charge. Any deficiencies were remedied promptly and without any pushback. Things to note is to make sure you allow enough time for fabric order to arrive, any unavoidable staffing shortages, higher demand before the Christmas season. Also time to fix anything not quite right. Easy to find and free parking.
