My family and I used to come weekly but the service can fluctuate between great and non existent depending on who you get... most of the waitstaff is good, but the owner... he often seems to regard customers as a nuisance rather than the life blood of his business. On several occasions we were left hanging without a place to sit even after making reservations... and he was dismissive and nasty (despite all the business we had brought him). On other occasions I was hung up on (by the owner) when I called and tried to make a reservation in English (despite the fact that most of the staff speaks English). Bottom line: the food makes this place worth your time as long as the owner decides that you are worth his.

They are noted for their pizza's but we also enjoyed their pastas. Service was fast and efficient. The do not have an English menu but between the Italian and German it is not to difficult to make your desired selection. In my experience, the food has always been good. The service can be hit or miss. If you are alone or a group less than 4, check out the cafe next door. It offers the same pizza and pasta for 1 or 2EUR less.
