You can also find a Green Egg cooker, along with the utensils needed to cook outdoors. This is a U-haul rental outlet. The prices for everything on the shelves are priced very expensively, and there are several things that will induce sticker shock. The high pricing of gifts is not reflected in the pricing of their prescription medication. There have been several instances where they were the least expensive on certain meds. The Gooseberry frozen yogurt and coffee shop are located inside and the frozen yogurt is pretty good. They added a couple new flavors and the selection of toppings is pretty large. Various cereal, gummy worms, sprinkles, fruit and syrups and more to choose from. I, myself, am a purist and put nothing on mine.

It was a real treat having a modern soda fountain and a little store with a bunch of cute gifts. Two hardworking young gals were back behind a separate counter from the pharmacy wrapping presents. It was perfect. I bought two toys for the kids and a nice wooden frame for my buddy & wife. All wrapped up nice for me in about 20 min. This place is the reason we all need to support our small businesses.

OK you all know I love bargain shopping by now and if you have the time to drive to Burnsville…read moreMississippi you will find a fantastic end of roll fabric store that also does custom work recovering furniture, doing pillows, you name it they will try to accomodate you. I love to sew and my good friend K* and I found this place by accident and we're so glad we did! I hesitated going in, the place is "no frills" as K likes to say so I took a deep breathe and entered into sewing heaven. They have an enormous selection of fabrics at amazing prices that will take you hours of wandering, touching, comparing and being stunned by the prices to truly appreciate. What started out as a chance find has blossomed into full fledged girl's day with a stop in Corinth for lunch after hours of wandering the aisles and searching bins. Burnsville is located just a hair past Corinth west of Memphis/Olive Branch/Southaven and a really lovely straight drive right through. We've literally packed a large sized SUV floor to ceiling with our finds and all of us have had custom work done there by a man I swear is an artist his work is just so wonderful...so if you find you have a mind to travel a ways (100 miles one way) then this trip is definitely worth it!!!

Downtown Corinth, pronounced locally as Car-inth, has really taken off here of late. There is a…read moremajor facelift going on in a previously desolated area South of the railroad tracks. Two married couples bought a city block on Wick and Fillmore Streets. This area is now called SoCo (South Corinth). SoCo has a hip ring to it, but it seems out of place to me. The first thing I think of when I hear SoCo is SoCal (Southern California) and along with that association comes images of Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Waterparks, Legoland, SeaWorld and Zoos and a population of over 22 million. Corinth has none of these things. SoCo and the historical district offers unique specialty shops, business offices, restaurants, a stately and regal courthouse, churches, and the friendliest people you could hope to meet. SoCo area is taking on a classy look with new curbs and landscaping and the businesses that are moving in are more of the chic boutique types. I'm sure it brings in money from female shoppers, but the area really lacks in offering appealing choices to teens and men. This area, along with most of the town, really should invest in bike parking. The only bike parking available in the entirety of Corinth is at the public library and it offers a dozen slots. If SoCo is looking to be more modern and hip it should encourage healthier lifestyles via biking, walking paths, indoor activities for inclement weather (rock wall climbing, trampoline basketball and hacky sack come to mind). Corinth and SoCo have high ambitions to garner the attentions of tourists, but they tend to fall short of offering meaningful true entertainment for all ages. I'm sure the area will continue to grow at a steady pace, but if it desires prosperity it might need to open its mind to new and exciting ventures for the entire family. Get out of the pigeonholed food and boutique mentality. To Each Their Own.
