Driving thru Pine Bluff headed back to Ft Worth decided to take the old route. Stop at Briggs for lunch. The Shrimp Loaded Fries were FANTASTIC!!! The fries were cooked well that stood up to the HUGe amount of melted cheese. The grilled shrimp perfectly seasoned with slight hint of hotness. If you are looking for out of the ordinary go for this dish because you won't find it anywhere else. BTW the size of the order feeds 2 comfortably if willingly to share. The rib plate was so so. Previous reviews might have over played to ribs or today's were a little over cooked and missing the BBQ flavor. The okra was very good and cole slaw was good. The owner and workers were very welcoming and friendly. I'd try Briggs again given the opportunity. read more

Was in town for a meeting at Paper Mill I called ahead to place order for pick up the next day Had 15 lunches with pork sandwiches potato salad and baked beans for our meeting . The ribs were perfect and the service was extraordinary. I showed up past 7 pm, just after they closed, wanting some to-go ribs. Not only was I taken care of, but returned to my hotel room with some of the most perfectly cooked ribs I have had. The owner was super friendly and went out of his way when he could have just said that they were closed. The ribs were smoky and smelled so good it made it difficult to drive back with them in the front seat calling out to me to be eaten. Once back to my room I opened the box and saw one the the largest racks of ribs I have ever seen. They tasted as good as they smelled. They were not over spiced and were not over cooked. Most people think that "fall off the bone" ribs are perfect, but technically that is over cooked. Anyone can cook ribs long enough to have the meat fall off the bone. It is difficult to cook ribs perfectly where they are tender yet a bite mark is retained on the rib, but Briggs figured it out. Stopped in passing through Pine Bluff...saw Briggs BBQ and stopped. We were not disappointed. We had a pulled pork and chopped brisket. Sides: okra, Cole slaw, fries, and beans. All good. Homemade. First off, let me say that if delivery had its own rating it would be 5 star. But its not, so it will be tied into my overall review. i ordered Pork & Brisket Sandwich as well as an order of rib-tips. The sandwiches were terrible tasted like burnt meat and the sauce was very bland. However im glad i ordered the rib-tips they were not burnt just very tough. If i had ordered only rib tips my rating would have been 4.5-5 solely on how nice the delivery driver was and how fast the order was delivered. Overall wont try them again. Still looking for a good BBQ place in pine bluff that has good BBQ. This place has gotten more praise for burgers and fries than BBQ. Change the name get rid of the bbq. read more

The Dunna special is wonderful! As a matter of fact, everything I've eaten there is good. The have brownies that make you want to slap somebody. I started eating there when they were just a food truck. I would speed back to PB from work in LR trying to catch them before they closed. I'm so happy they have a building now. Place is a a diamond in the rough, for sure! Just off the main road. Walked in and saw people playing dominoes having a great time. Family type environment. I ordered a pulled pork platter and pork loaded baked potato. Food was easily in my top 3 in the country. I travel for a living and try to eat at a privately owned BBQ joint once a week. I've eaten BBQ from almost every state in the country. The pulled pork was great. The fries were fresh. The potato was great but extremely filling. Haha. Now, on to the most amazing surprise I had. The beans were the best tasting, unique recipe beans I have ever had in my entire life. No exaggeration. I literally said Holy Crap out loud when I took the first bite. Clinton (the owner, operator, cook, BBQ mastermind) came out to see how I liked my food. He ended up sitting down and we conversed for close to 45 min. I felt like I had been a patron of B2C2 for a lifetime. When I come back to the area, I will make it a point to stop back in and visit with my new buddies, Clinton and the family. Rib-tastic!!! On a trip back from Florida we decided that we hadn't had bbq yet and grabbed our phones to see what we could find. This place didn't have a ton of reviews but what we saw was pretty decent. I got the rib dinner with okra and bbq baked beans. The ribs were top notch, solid beans, and perfectly seasoned and cooked okra. My wife got the shrimp fries and was blown away. I'd like to mention that even though our world is going the a pandemic right now and everyone is scared of germs the owners were nice enough to let us use their dominos so we could get a game of bones going while we waited (super cool of them). The only negative thing I would say was that there was no bottles of bbq sauce on the table but that's probably because of COVID-19. I just like to try the sauce before I have the food. In my opinion sauce can make or break your bbq joint! If your near this place please give them a try and show them some love because when you taste the meat you'll see their love for bbq! read more
