This weekend, I used them 3 times. The first 2 were ok, but it was clear they had NO CLUE about Brigantine. I asked to go the The Hotel. They had no idea where it was. I told them The Legacy. Still no clue. Who from Brigantine doesn't know the Hotel? But my 3rd trip was absolutely my last. I needed to go from back from The Hotel to the AC train. The driver showed up 20 minutes later than promised. Beach Vans always used to send vans, which is why I ordered that instead of Uber. We had beach gear and fishing gear, so we wanted a van. They sent a Nissan Maxima. With two other people in it! We had gear, and had to sit with it on our laps while some dude sat in the middleof the back seat between my 14 year old son and I. I said, "What the hell is this". Driver told me it was a "pool". Bullshit, Uber does pool when you ask for pool, not Beach Vans. Because of their lateness, I missed my train. But here is the best part......The car REEKED of weed. Like to the point that I was hoping my son wouldn't notice. And even more...We got to the train station, and the front seat passenger said, "$50". The day before, it was $12 to get from AC train to The Hotel. I told him he was full of crap, and I wasn't paying. He said he'd call the cops. Then I lost it. Told him, "Go ahead. I've already missed my train, and when the cops get here, you and your GF driver will go to jail for the weed that is obviously in this car. She is driving under the influence." His response, "I'll call my boss." Again, I said, "Go ahead, and I'll tell him you are driving around with your friends getting stoned on the job". DO NOT USE BEACH VANS.
