She has taught at the Southwest School of Art for more than three decades, managed residencies in Southern France, and offered mentorships and private instruction across the US and Europe. In 2016, artist/designer Cara met Jeannette when she visited Comfort, and the two bonded instantly over their artistic sensibilities, shared love of encaustic, and aligned values around the joy and prosperity of spirit that making and sharing art can be. At that time, Cara was Gallery Manager at the Center for Contemporary Arts in Abilene TX, and a practicing artist. But this review is for their framing department which is exceptional on several levels. I just received my newly framed antique map and it is incredible.
