But anyway, why is this guy leaving another review? During my 1st round of sessions, Sheva helped me deal with my HOCD. This 2nd round, she helped me deal with my "regular" OCD. Life has never been better. And it's all thanks to her and her organization. See, I knew what I needed to "fix". But I needed help doing it. It's like getting a personal trainer, an accountant, a contractor, etc. Could you do it yourself? Sure. But having an experienced, professional helping hand is usually going to be smoother. I wasn't sure I wanted to disclose what exactly I was getting help with. But if someone out there somehow lands on here and is experiencing the same thing (HOCD - which is probably a little more unknown as a term), then it might be worth it. You can self medicate, numb the pain, or do any other number of things with the money you'd spend here. But it won't be worth it. I would even say the value I've gotten from my sessions and their lasting impact on my life is worth more than what I actually paid in total (and I definitely felt the pain in my wallet *while* doing sessions here).

I cannot say enough good things about Arolyn. She is easily one of the most skilled clinicians I've worked with, and arguably one of the best in the area. I drive nearly 3 hours to see her, and it is absolutely worth it. In just a few sessions, I've experienced more meaningful progress than years of traditional therapy combined. Her approach is precise, intuitive, and highly effective in a way that feels both clinical and deeply human. She also has techniques that have provided immediate relief for symptoms like tinnitus, which I had been struggling with for a long time. If you are considering working with her, I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has genuinely been life-changing for me.

After researching several hypnotherapists I called Arolyn and set up an appointment. She had a…read moreclear treatment plan with some room for more treatments if needed. Arolyn is also an LMFT which really adds to her effectiveness in knowing how to use a tool like hypnotherapy alongside traditional therapy. I used her for therapy sessions in addition to hypno. Her hypnotherapy technique is unique but in order for it to be effective, it requires you to really do the work (as with any therapy). But it is worth the effort! I found Arolyn to be attentive, kind and generous. She helped me work through various blocks to get around negative thought patterns. I now have a recording that is like my own personal power ballad. Arolyn tucked in all of these thoughtful little tidbits from our various sessions into this special recording designed to help lift you up and focus your energy and thoughts. That recording wouldn't have been as robust without her help and without us both spending quite a bit of time on it. I now listen to that recording most every day. With Arolyn's help, I learned to go into a deep meditative state that helped to change the waves of my brain and even more difficult, learned to change the language that I use. And most of this work was really done between appointments with the tools Arolyn showed me. It isn't a super power but it does take effort on your part. I plan to keep her number handy and use her again when needed. Thank you Arolyn for your support and guidance!
