My kids were both born in Florida, and our family has moved around quite a bit, so we've seen different school environments. That said, Windermere Prep has been much more than just a school for our family it has truly been an experience. The campus is beautiful. The classrooms and teachers are nurturing, and the school offers strong academic programs, including the IB curriculum. My children have also had opportunities to participate in international trips and other experiences that helped them grow beyond the classroom. At the same time, like any school, students still need to take responsibility for their own studying and effort. I've found several administrators and teachers including Mr. Villatico, Dr Fouche, Mr Muenker, Ms. Gemma very supportive and easy to work with. When concerns are raised, the school does respond and work toward solutions. We are proud to be Lakers.

The students and the staff engaged in camaraderie, the students used their cell phone in class without any consequences. As far as I knew it was normally a donation based fee. To do such underhanded act is disgusting of a school administration. To top it off, they also charged for beverages, candy & popcorn; why? You already charged a mandatory fee to all visitors, therefore why do such a sneaky underhanded act? It is in the school administrations best interest to inform all parents ahead of time, when any future concerts are held of any fees imposed. I overheard many people complain because some did not have cash handy. If you want parents & families to pay, have a credit/debit card machine to also facilitate those who do not carry cash. I've never seen such tackiness of any school administration & I've visited several in different states.
