Paul will go out of his way, knowing that we are from out of town, to make sure that everything is always set up for us and ready to go. In this industry it is certainly important to have trust and my family has always been able to trust Paul and his staff. They have repeatedly gone out of their way to make sure that our watercraft are working and work when we need them to. This is a great business with genuine good people which you sadly just don't find much of these days. In addition to boat maintenance I also know they have a great storage facility. I would highly recommend Marine Plus to anybody who has a boat in the Middlebury to Burlington area.

We were excited to try the tube and the water skis that came with the boats. However, we did have an issue with the tube as it was a bit deflated. We ended up taking time to go back to the marina for a replacement which unfortunately also deflated after a couple of rides. So if you're looking for a tubing-forward experience, just something to be aware of. Other than that, we would definitely recommend.

He then charged us the full price of the gas without any discount despite being responsible for us losing an afternoo n of boating. Ironically, the owner of the boat has steered a group of us that are 4 generation Lake Champlain boaters to Point Bay rather than Westport or Essex. About as poorly handled as one could imagine. The staff and ownership were professional, easy-to-deal with, and honest. There were no deceptions nor hidden costs...just don't hit any rocks! The marina offers several amenities for permanent docking and visitors, including fuel, repair, and a restaurant. Westport is beautiful, but not upscale. It is a much better value than nearby yuppie traps.

My grandmother and grandfather brought their Jeep in last week. There was no charge but the issue was also not resolved, as their oil continued to leak this week. They called again and were told to bring it in. Turns out the cooler was cracked, substantially. They paid their $600 bill and left. The only way a crack of this nature occurs is if whoever fixed the filter last visit over-tightened it. Its not a question, I also consulted other mechanics on this and was told that this place is NOTORIOUS for cracking coolers by overtightening the filter and charging folks for it. How despicable. Absolutely shameful and abhorrent to take advantage of older people by fooling them into paying for issues the garage itself caused. I encourage anyone and everyone to stay as far away from this place as possible. If you like to overpay for problems you didn't have before visiting, this place is absolutely for you! If you don't want someone to break your vehicle and then charge you for it, I would avoid this spot.
