Dr Shepherd is extremely compassionate, kind and professional. I can't say enough about his path in pet euthanasia.

This is my second time using their services--my first was on March 27, 2023, when I said goodbye to my beloved dog Leo. Because of the care they showed back then, I knew I could trust them again when it was time to say farewell to my sweet Beija. Juan was the person who came to pick up Beija, and he was incredibly kind, respectful, and gentle. He treated her with so much dignity, and that brought me a great sense of peace during such a difficult moment. His compassion truly meant the world to me. I also want to thank Jacque and Juanique, the owner, for their support, patience, and understanding. Their warmth and professionalism make this painful process a little easier, and I am deeply grateful for the way they care for both the pets and the people who love them. Thank you, Gently Pet Crossing, for once again being there when my heart needed it most. You are a blessing to families like mine.

Tank's remains were ready within a couple of weeks, and when I went to pick up the urn and everything, it was presented so beautifully, that I felt compelled to let everyone who needs info about Monarch Pet Memorial know how excellent their care of my Tank's remains were. The bag it all came in was tied with a thin black ribbon with paw prints on it. Open the bag, and there was this beautiful simple wooden urn with my dog's paw print burned into the wood, with Tank's name above the paw. They gave me a certificate, plus a cast of his paw in a round cast, like you do for children's hands. Also a beautiful glass cylinder with some of Tank's fur. Also, a certificate of the private cremation, a bookmark and an another paw print in ink on a card. This whole package was very comforting to me. Thank you so much for your care and respect of my sweet, precious boy, Tank.

The staff was so kind and supportive and when we put one to sleep they even lit a candle and made the room as cozy as possible and made a paw print for us. I have been avoiding being the person in the room during those moments until then and it was as supportive as any clinic could've been and now I wish I had been brave enough before. Our cat has had surgeries and they've all gone great too. The front desk staff has even helped bring things and pets to and from the car when I had my kids with me and needed an extra hand.

They then put him back under anesthesia and re-did the surgery and I picked him up and the stitches burst open again within 24 hours. I brought him back again for them to re do surgery and when I picked him up they burst again within another 48 hours. I brought him back again and they basically said they can't do it & I have to bring him to an actual surgeon to get it done right. But they charged me every time for their garbage work. I took him to Dr Hansen and he got it done 1st try which is pathetic for Martin downs considering after 3 failed surgeries with all that tearing of the tissue, Dr Hansen got it 1st try. DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE FOR SURGERY UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR BANK ACCOUNT DRAINED AND YOUR ANIMAL KILLED. 100% would never bring another animal here and I hope they get shut down soon. EDIT: To your response: That's false there was no biopsy done or anything to determine that it was a tumor. He went into surgery with us not knowing if it was an infection or a tumor. I understand that the tumor was very large and I can understand getting sent to another surgeon but the fact that you guys kept trying 3 more times with no results and continued to charge me everytime is absurd. So after over $2000 he was leaking feces into his body and would've gone septic and died and at that point my only choice is to go to the other surgeon which was another $1500 to just walk in. Don't try to make excuses. You guys messed up bad and did nothing to try and make it right. Absolutely heartless. But at least you got your money right.

Dr. Jolin was assigned to him, and gave him a complete examination including updating vaccinations. A few months after the initial exam, my dog started showing signs of a skin irritation. I made an appointment, and went back to Dr. Jolin. She performed a culture and after the test results, Dr. Jolin prescribed an antibiotic (for the infection) and a steroid (Prednisone) to control the itching. It worked for a while, but after my dog was off the Prednisone for a while, the irritation returned. Dr. Jolin then prescribed Apoquel, which only mildly controlled the itchy skin. When I returned for his yearly appointment, once again Dr. Jolin prescribed an antibiotic as well as Fluconazole for a yeast infection. So far the medication seems to be working well, but we'll have to see if it lasts. If not, Dr. Jolin suggested they could try an injection. Each time I have taken my dog to PCAMC, Dr. Jolin has always been very kind and professional, and she has treated my "buddy" with exceptional care. The techs are also very friendly and knowledgeable in their field. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have also used Snips & Snoozes for grooming, and both Britney and Veronica do a great job. I highly recommend both Palm City Animal Center and Snips & Snoozes!
