The processing facilities are usually busy and quite clean. To refute the one star review by Ernest L., as a former meat processor, 1/3 hanging weight sounds about right for boned, double skinned wild game. Shot placement is also a factor in finished weight. Burger is proportional. 99 cents a pound (plus tax) processing is a good price. There is no robbery here and this is a lament I have often heard on my side of the cutting table from people who have never processed their own meat. I've never seen any animal that is 2/3 MEAT as Mr. L. seems to think his elk was.

Fine, I really only knocked to see if they were selling king salmon. Fortunately I could read the sign through the window that king salmon was indeed available.
