This company doesn't care, (Although if you leave a bad review, the manager will call you a dozen times, don't know why, never left a message but I did not answer) the technicians leave a lot to be desired (And yes I know what a good technician is, I've been in the "Tech" business for 50 years) The bill was over $2200.00 and it included my annual service. They told me I needed a new VHF antenna, they said it was broken, nonsense but have to have a working radio when on the ocean, so $200+ dollars for that. When I dropped my boat off, they didn't say it was broken, when they wrote it up, didn't say a word, when I called 3 times to check on the boat (They didn't start working on it for two and a half weeks) they didn't say a word but finally when they brought it into the shop to begin the work I needed a new one cause mine is snapped in half. Again, nonsense, but have to have a working radio on the water. I had an issue with my Fresh Water Pump, so for $500.00+ dollars, I had them fix it. One month later (today, June 7th, 2026) and it doesn't work (I'm sure they'll say it's my fault, like the antenna) so now I have to have the $500+ dollar pump repaired less than a month after they replaced it. Yes, I should bring it back and have them fix it but I don't trust a word they say or the quality of technical employee's that work there. I'm sure they'll find some reason it's not covered, but moving on; When I picked my boat up and put it into the water the Port Engine wouldn't start, wouldn't even crank. I called the store, sat on hold for 2 minutes and got a "Huh, it was run here". Basically they didn't test my Batteries (Maybe an annual service doesn't include testing the batteries in NC but it does everywhere else) so the next morning, I had to go, get a new battery and install it. They didn't lube anything (The Cabin Door sounded like the Munster's House doors) and I can go on and on but it's useless, they just don't care and it shows! They're a typical "Dealer" they don't care, don't have any quality control, no follow up, no people skills and a repair staff with few "Technical Skills "and my new boat yes, just ordered a 280 thousand dollar boat, NOT from them will be delivered in @8 weeks. It's unfortunate they care more about money than their business reputation or integrity.

Had attempted to locate a near-by marine machanic to repair the issue with no success. Leon Messer of Marine Service Pro and his partner just happened to be at my marina on a separate matter. Leon asked what my issue was. He immediately came over and diagnosed the fuel leak problem and without hesitation said lets get this fixed. He removed and replaced a defected fuel line pickup. Problem solved. There was no head scratching or question in his mind on how to fix the problem. A true professional backed by many years of marine experience. Thanks Leon.

I stopped by for an inexpensive cooler to carry some seafood home. They had the perfect cooler for only $5. The clerk was helpful and friendly. I looked at the surf supplies and another clerk immediately asked if I needed assistance. The fishing gear is unbelievable. And kayaks, they carry everything. I could have spent all day in there. They rent surf boards, paddle boards, bikes and sell fishing licenses and can even set up fishing charters. They are locally owned. They offer free parking. I'll be back on my next visit to Surf City.

There were 3 elderly ladies about 3 or 4 feet away from his umbrella on the crowded Ocean City Beach at 1st Street. The Sun Fun guy yelled at the 3 ladies, saying they had parked their umbrella too close to his. The ladies said they were there first (before anyone was seated under the Sun Fun umbrella) and that it was a crowded public beach, which was all true. The guy continued yelling and even called THEM "rude" before storming away! We were so embarrassed!

I've had to bring it back multiple times for the same issue, and it has never been fixed or properly addressed. Every time they say it's repaired, I get it back with the same problem still there. I've even provided videos showing exactly what's wrong, but they still claim nothing is wrong. The staff act very unprofessional and seem completely unqualified to do repairs. They've stopped answering my calls, told me I would be blocked, and even said they left my four-wheeler outside for me to pick up, which is completely irresponsible and puts my property at risk. My kids haven't been able to enjoy this four-wheeler since we bought it, and the whole experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Do not buy from B Powersports , the products are unreliable, and the service is the worst I've ever experienced.

The sales manager Dameon Jernigan has been made aware of the situation by his salesman that I've been in touch with and I haven't heard a word from him. You'd think for the sake of the business and low reviews like this one that the attempt would be made to at least keep the customer in the loop as to what is happening or at the very least apologize for the inconvenience. I'd take my business elsewhere if I could.
