I already had my wedding dress when I visited the store, and was only going for bridesmaid dresses, which seemed to immediately make me quite low priority. On the day I arrived with one of my bridesmaids for our appointment, even though I'd phoned ahead with the styles we wanted to view, I was told one was in a garage or loft somewhere and another was being tried by someone else. I had to push to look at this dress, as the other lady appeared to have finished with it. It was even suggested that my 28 year old bridesmaid tried to get into an age14 dress, as it was similar!
I did order the dresses here as it was the most local supplier to me of the make I wanted, and they came in no problem, my finance had to pick up one of the dresses for me, so we could deliver it and the shop were fantastic, ensuring that he was allowed to see it and asking if it needed to be in something other than the clear bag. However.. I was not impressed when, after making a fitting appointment, a bridesmaid (who had also made it clear where she was coming from) travelled all the way from Dorset to be told that here was nobody there that could take any measurements, pin it or do anything with what was obviously an enormous dress. it was at this point that we were told that was the fitting appointment, you tried it on didn't you. We were offered no apology and it was never explained that a fitting appointment would not entail having the dress fitted.
I have heard wonderful things about this shop if you are buying a wedding dress, but with my experience I wouldn't recommend it if you only want bridesmaid dresses, as I did not find this a massively enjoyable experience.
