It's a bit hidden but what a gem for our neighborhood! The owners, Susy and Mario are super friendly. They have amazing sets that you can't find anymore. I even got a new set that just launched TODAY that you can't find. It's the Nike Dunk set. I bought it for my son. Great prices and raw finds. Definitely going back for my Lego needs.

Legos sold to Bricks & Minifigs Lawndale.

I came here to sell around 30 sealed Lego sets I had in storage for a few years after initially talking with Mario on the phone and had an excellent experience overall. Mario gave me a fair offer on my sets and was a pleasure to do business with/talk to. The store also had a good selection of Lego sets (both new and used), mini figures, and loose bricks. The layout of the store was clean and inviting. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking to buy, sell, or trade Legos!

As I walked back to my car, another car pulled up, a guy got out, went to look at the door, looked at me with the what-the-heck shrugged shoulder looked and shook his head walking away. When someone drives up from 45 minutes away to check out your store to make it there before closing time on a weekend, then that's not cool.

I was acknowledged by the one staff member who was already helping another customer so that was appreciated. Too a look around and the space is a little large for their offerings, hopefully they can grow and survive, the had a mix of graded sports and gaming cards, and ungraded cards, their selection was OK, it was in a display case near one wall with some supplies on another wall and some boxes on the other wall. Overall, they seem to be under utilizing the space available to them, as far as their inventory of single "better" cards go it's about what I would expect to see on one dealer table at a card show. The cards were somewhat organized by sport or game, but others were mixed together. Prices were not terrible, but I did not see any super bargains that I needed to grab and pick up. I've seen better small shops, and I have seen worse, so BoxBreaks falls right in the middle. I would give them a call if I was looking for something, but I wouldn't make a special trip without calling first.
