I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Bricks & Minifigs in Colorado Springs was the worst customer service I've ever received from any business.
From the moment I walked in, I felt like my questions were an inconvenience. Every time I asked about pricing or inquired about other LEGO sets, the associate responded with audible sighs and an attitude that made it seem like they had no interest in helping me. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was being rushed out the door.
The most concerning part happened during checkout. One of my LEGO minifigures ended up behind the cash register instead of with the rest of my purchase. It was explained as an accident, but given how the interaction had gone up to that point, the situation left me deeply uncomfortable. Whether it was a genuine mistake or not, it completely eroded my confidence in the transaction and made me feel like I had to watch every item closely.
Customer service is built on trust, and once that trust is shaken, it's difficult to restore. No customer should leave a LEGO store feeling anxious about whether they received everything they intended to purchase or feeling like they're inconveniencing the staff simply by asking questions.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because no one should have an experience like this. A hobby that's supposed to be fun and welcoming shouldn't leave customers feeling disrespected and uneasy. I won't be returning, and I would encourage others to carefully verify their purchases before leaving the store. read more
