Best for take-out or delivery, though dine-in option is available, if you don't mind the smell of fresh seafood on display for sale, steps away. The atmosphere is friendly and ok for a quick bite, but it's not exactly inviting as it mainly functions as a fresh fish store and quick kitchen, but there are casual outdoor seating options in the warmer months. No wait service, it's all casual and self serve. The entrées are served with a side of steamed yellow rice, or French fries, fresh lemon and a fresh lettuce, tomato, and cucumber salad. A delicious choice for dinner on any given night cooked to perfection . 1/2 pound filets / steaks (around $10-$15) or 1 pound filets / steaks (around $20-$25). Strongly recommend trying some sides too, the shrimp ceviche is really good, so are the fried clams, fried scallops, and fried or broiled shrimp. The people working there have been there for decades and are always friendly and polite. Food is prepped quickly, prep times are not long.

Luckily, I had Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips on my list and it was on my way. I'd also been wanting to check off eating at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant on my foodie bucket list for sometime. This spot is going to count for me, at least until I can eat at one of his real-deal restaurants. While I didn't expect the place to not have a line, I was pleasantly surprised at how I was able to quickly place my order then grab a counter seat along the window. I was solo on this visit, so I didn't need a table, but those who had groups had to wait a few minutes to grab an empty one as the the restaurant was fairly full. The atmosphere is just like any pop-in, to-go place: casual, yet energetic, and feels approachable with a focus on serving quality food, rather than worried about a Michelin star. The only caveat is that the prices are a bit higher than most are probably happy paying, but you've got to remember its proximity to Times Square and the Gordon Ramsay brand. I got Gordon's combo which was a piece of cod, a piece of chicken, and three pieces of shrimp. All three were were crispy, flaky, and golden brown with a light batter that delivered a nice crunch, and the chips were hot and hearty. Exactly what you would you'd hope for from a restaurant built around this delicious British comfort food, especially with Gordon Ramsay's name on it. I'm not much for tartar sauce, so I can't speak to that, but I definitely appreciated the bit of lemon to add a bright burst of freshness. As it is more of a to-go/fast food style place, the presentation was surprisingly appealing for a quick-service restaurant. Paired with a ginger ale, it was a satisfying meal after a day of exploring the city.

Be sure to make a reservation, as this spot is popular, especially on a nice weekend. We recently had a weekend brunch at one of the tables outside. Everything on the menu sounded good, but we decided on a couple of their specials. Started with the razor clams, which were cooked perfectly and topped with fresh herbs. We also had the fried soft shell crab sandwich with the side of Caesar salad. The sandwich was well balanced with the crunchy crab and herby aioli. The Caesar was light and refreshing. The fish and chips came with two fried filets of white fish and a basket of classic fries. The fish was lightly battered and flakey. The house made tartar sauce was a good complement to it. Going to Greenpoint Fish and Lobster on a weekend is truly a mission. If you don't have a reservation chances are you'll be waiting around for a long time. They estimated 30min wait and it turned out to be over an hour. We were ready to walk away 3 times but ended up sticking around as we were promised we were third on the list meanwhile more than 3 parties were seated before us (strange!). Once we were seated, we ordered right away having had time to look at the menu while waiting. Crudo, dozen of oysters, clam chowder + lobster roll. - Crudo was a bit sad with 6 pieces of fish lying on a big plate with an insane amount of salt flakes. It was fresh but don't think it's worth ordering. - East coast oysters were puny. Very mid especially because I've recently tried some at Upstate that were amazing. They're incomparable. - Lobster roll. Okay should've just gone straight for the roll because it was perfect. Buttery and fresh with perfect balance of lobster roll bread. The salad dressing also was delicious. So good! Definitely highlight of this restaurant. - Clam chowder. Also 10/10. Hearty, flavorful. Loved every bite of it. Service was average. They weren't profoundly interested in giving best service instead just chatting amongst each other and dropping off plates. Also they forgot about the clam chowder we ordered and asked if we still want it.. YES..that's why we ordered it. Overall if you don't pay attention to those details it's worth coming for some great seafood. BUT I highly recommend getting a reservation.

I am a sucker for this famous British/Irish deep fried goodness. Well, I can say without a doubt that this version is excellent (8.5/10) as described. The dish comes with three pieces that are crispy and tender. However, they gotta make a better tartar sauce than the ones they served in packets. Also, we switched out chips for onion rings. They were fantastic! I also really enjoyed their French Onion Soup (8/10) and the Shepherds Pie (7.5/10). The soup was flavorful without being too salty like most restaurants, while the pie had relatively fluffy mash potato with tasty ground beef mixture. The only item that was a slight letdown was the Chicken Pot Pie (6/10). The puff pastry was decent and so was the cream sauce. The problem was the overcooked and dry chicken breast meat. Our server was very friendly and always had a smile on her face. Btw, even though the space was basically a dive bar, the energetic 60's and 70's music was definitely a plus. Therefore, I gave it a slightly higher score for decor. All in all, this was a great experience.

We appreciated his dedication to getting us our food on time, but to be really honest, the Irish breakfast was not the best that could have been made.

This place isn't for you if you're impatient to get drunk! The decor is a wood feel like you're upstate in a cabin. Very cozy! I love the steam punk looking lights! Very rustic feel to the corner spot that we were sitting in. I didnt catch their wifi password but I'm sure if you ask they will give you the password. There is outlets under the bar to charge your phone. Also in the front where we were there was an outlet in the other corner. While they don't take reservations I could see myself coming back with a group to sit in the corner. I wonder what their Friday nights are like. If you close your eyes and drink enough of their beers on draft, you could probably convince yourself you're in Dublin after a night out. The ambiance was solid with a cozy indoor setup and small outdoor section. I can only speak for the ~5:30pm ambiance, but the night vibe here was apparently good enough that my friend's friend got a girl's number here. Service was chill and friendly. Price-wise, $23 for chicken and fries felt steep, but the very reasonable happy hour beer pricing balanced the scales. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a classic Irish pub in LIC or if TikTok convinced you to hunt down a spice bag.

Will never come back here. Heard about this place on IG and…read morethe crowd was so big when I got there so hopes were high. The lines themselves were confusing but there's an initial line inside where you grab your own seafood buffet style and get online to pay. It was fun grabbing everything because even though it was a lot of people, the other customers and staff (especially the young guy at the cashier and the guy sitting next to the seafood bags) were SO nice. After paying $180, he said we can basically wait to be sat or if we find a seat we can grab it. We got on second line outside to wait for a table, but we saw two seats open with another group who said it was cool to sit with them. We sat for 30 minutes, a waitress came and brought us utensils and plates. Later this bald waiter (didnt get his name) came over and asked if someone sat us from the line and we said we were told we can just sit if there's a spot. He said that wasn't allowed and we have to go on line, we're stunned but like alright...we joined the line again where we're several spots away from where we were originally when we were first online (important for later) but we didnt think we could just cut the line back to where we were. We're waiting for about a whole hour on this line barely moving which it's a friday at a busy restaurant and I still wanna have a good time, especially because we're finally next to be sat. Then this couple just comes out from inside and stands in front of us. We're thinking like um what are they doing but confident the guy knows we're next. The bald guy comes back, asks who's next, the couple raises their hands as do we and the bald guy points at us like no wait theyre next. The couple then says they accidentally went on the line inside for a table. The bald guy is like oh okay and we're like ???? He seats them, my partner says to the bald guy that we had the same situation when we were sat initially at the table and he kicked us out and placed us at the back of the line. He apologized but didn't sit us. We're so pissed at this guy and this couple but at the same time we understand the couple because it's an honest mistake but we've been here for 1.5 hours and the only problem has been this guy. Still, we wanted to enjoy the night and were reallyyyy looking forward to the delicious food. But we end up waiting another 30 minutes to be sat and at this points it's 9pm and my partner has work at 4am in the morning. We are FINALLY sat by another waiter who is very nice and we felt bad because he just seemed busy and overwhelmed. But we're sat and given two plates and utensils. Utensils are plastic knives and forks which Id expect better but sure it's "authentic" and plates are just plain plastic plates. One plate has food still on it and I ask for a new one, then also looking at the other plate it also has sauce still on it and we ask for a new one. We get the salad we ordered and new plates. For 20 minutes, the salad was all that was served, but we also got water with our order and the salad was supposed to come with garlic bread. We ask and the waiter said they're out of bread but he'll bring the water. He brings water, then about 10 minutes later (it's now been a total of 30 minutes at the table) we finally get some of our food. We were given the mussels, scallops, and shrimp (still waiting on salmon, fish and crab legs). Now, we have been here for this long and the food looked like it was thrown on the plate with zero seasoning (we ate some but the photo was pretty much how it was served). But still thought maybe it'd taste good. ...It was so bland and unappetizing. The aesthetic instead of seeming authentic was now just looking lazy and haphazard. This is just such a let down but we got the salmon and it tasted okay, a good cut but that's about it. Then my partner was eating the mussels and got one that was raw, kind of the last straw for us after everything, my partner had to be up early for work AND we still had to wait for the fish and crab legs. He went inside with the mussels and said it was raw and mentioned just the entire mixup of the night. The people inside were SO nice about it. They asked what we'd like to do and we asked for a refund for the fish and crab legs (they finally came while he was inside about the mussels) (also the crab legs were given with no tools to open the legs but the plastic utensils). We left them untouched and just wanted a refund and to leave. He told them that they should also have a sign clarifying the lines AND about the situation when we first sat down. Even the owner said yeah we should've been served when we first sat down and that it was allowed to just grab the two seats (the bald guy was still there and overheard the entire conversation). The cashier guy was very generous and was telling us he'll give the refund but we can still enjoy the crab and fish but we really had to go. Overall, the most disappointing food and service experience besides the people inside.

I've never had Algerian-style seafood and was excited to try out Le Petit Pêcheur. We were a party of 6 and made a reservation that same day which was great! We arrived and got seated but weren't explained the process. First, you go up to the fish counter and order the fish you want, the amount you want, and the style you want it cooked (grilled, fried, or sautéed). They've done a great job with the display and I liked seeing the various options in front of me. The worker who helped us was super friendly and took the time to explain what each fish was. I also appreciate that their pricing is transparent (posted on their website). So why 3 stars? Once we finally ordered, we went back to our seats and ordered appetizers, sides, and drinks with our waiter. It took almost 40 minutes to receive the Greek Salad and Virgin Mojito we ordered. We had already received our Fried Calamari before that. Similarly, we got all the fish before the French Fries & Rice Vegetable Medley came out. It was frustrating and took away from the experience the fact that we didn't have the sides to eat with the fish at the time the fish came out. We literally had finished everything when the waiter came out with Lemon Potatoes which we had to send back considering it took too long to get them. It's a shame considering all the food we had was actually delicious. The Fried Calamari was crispy, tender, and not chewy at all, the Grilled Spanish Branzino was buttery, light, and delicious, and the Tiger Shrimp was grilled beautifully and the lemon olive oil mix just enhanced it even more. Even the Marinated Sardines were some of the best I've had. The fish was fresh, grilled/fried properly, and we truly didn't have a bad bite here. Prices are also more than reasonable. There's a clear lack of communication by the staff since two people within our group had provided their credit card to pay and they charged both. It's a shame we couldn't enjoy it as much as I hoped because of the operational issues. Hope they improve with time but until then, I won't be back.
