It's counter service so should make an order first before getting a number for your table. I went with the halloumi dish. Thought the halloumi should be more saltier or at least that's how I like my halloumi. Also if they added zaater to the dish it would be great! My wife went with the avocado on toast dish which tasted as expected no surprises. Finally we shared the pancakes. The fluffiness was great but thought it needed more syrup to make it more sugary to our liking.

Fresh, real chicken and just a light crumb served with a lovely fresh garden salad and nice hot & crispy chips. Our second experience was as part of a family function for a 90th birthday and it was equally as wonderful. We were served lovely food that was fresh, hot and full of flavour. More importantly the staff wee flexible and hospitable. What I loved too is the modern kiwi style of combining casual country with a modern twist, done tastefully and without being too much. Prices are super reasonable ($6.90 NZD to $16.90 NZD). - Sweet potato noodle & chicken ball lunch box ($10.90 NZD) - the japchae was good but lacked a bit of that chewy noodle bite that I'm used to. Chicken balls were perfectly breaded with a light crunch. Found the portion size on the small side. - Jeyuk (#2) ($12.90 NZD) - spicy pan-fried marinated pork. Came with rice, mini egg omelette, white cabbage and blanched spinach. White cabbage was refreshing with a tangy, light vinegar sauce. Pork could have been spicier but it was still good. - Bibim-bap (#7) ($12.90 NZD) - steamed rice mixed with vegetables and beef served with chili paste.
