It was my first visit to the new office. The layout and design was beautifully accomplished. It's evident that a lot of time was spent in making this a welcoming environment for patients and staff. I loved the covered parking location and corporate surroundings. Black dot coffee shop in the adjacent building and a wonderfully laid out sitting area by the central water fountain were enjoyable. Crown came off the night before. First thing in AM I called the office, and the receptionis says "The one in front?". I've only been in the office a few times, so I'm amazed that she knows who I am and the condition of my mouth. Then she tells me she'll squeeze me in that very day. Dr. Chavez is so sweet, thorough, gentle, and has such expertise. She X-rayed the implant below, cleaned up the old cement, determined there was no problem, (and cheered) and re-cemented the crown. All within an hour, including the wait. Everyone in the office stopped to see how I was doin'! Unbelievable, it's fun going to the dentist. (I did have to pay, though.) read more

This lady is like a bad mechanic. Poke and prod until something is wrong. I had a crown come off so I made an appointment to come in and have it put back on. Simple enough, cause I hate the dentist. So right off the bat, X-ray needed. Huh? I went along with it. Dr. Chavez comes in and is really, really surprised I'm not in any pain. Why would I have pain, just a crown. Nothing is sensitive? "Nope I'm good" I tell her. She comments again how surprised she is that I'm in no pain. Now I have ????? So she starts putting a lot of pressure on my tooth with her finger trying to move the root canal around. At first I was good but the more she messed with it it started to tingle. She then got her metal tool the spike no one likes! And tries to move the tooth some more, and sure enough the tingle gets a bit more intense and I tell her to stop the more she messes with it the more it tingles. She giggles and stops. Apparently my root canal has an infection and from what she can see it looks fractured. She tells me she will recommend an oral surgeon for me and she wants to talk about treatment. I'm sure see saw that implant $$$ and just had to fuck with my tooth one more time, bitch this time with some cotton. I'm guessing to be able to grip my tooth. As she's only used her gloved finger and the spike. She says she's drying it, but why are u pushing down on it and seeing if it moves? Sure enough that tingle is now a small throb, but once she goes to set the crown. It starts to throb much more and more intense. I swear she had to be on her tippy toes to get enough pressure, and now I'm in full throbbing mode. She says the crown is basically holding the fracture together. Oh well gee thanks for the toothache and for costing me even more $$. I'm self employed as a plumber and if I'm not working I'm not making $$. Now I have to go see the oral surgeon and take time off work, cancel or reschedule appointments, it could cost me a customer. All because Dr. Chavez couldn't simply Re-cement the cap and let me be on my way, with no pain. Best way to get someone to do something you want is to cause them pain. She's like a loan shark. She loans you some pain and intern you have to pay her to get rid of it. Awesome! Now since I'm throbbing I have to go see the surgeon asap, I would have rather waited till it hurt on its own. Not because some $$$ hungry dentist wanted it to hurt. Needless to say I will not go where she recommends and will be looking for a new dentist with competent hygienist who don't turn the heater on after you tell them no. And when you start to overheat doesn't take any responsibility. That is another story and that should've told me to never go back!! She really deserves 0 stars!!! read more

I am back on here to update my last review. I just took my son in for his very first dental visit. (3 years old) I know I am a little late but we've been doing great brushing and flossing at home so he had no cavities. But I just want to praise doctor Chavez on how extremely patient and kind she was to my son we had the best first time at the dentist experience with her and her entire staff! I've been a patient here for 8 years, had my first crown done today and I couldn't have felt more at ease by the Dr and her staff. Her office has always been extremely clean and up to date but the extra sanitation efforts during COVID-19 really helped ease my concerns. Her work is meticulous and the attention she gives her patients is truly special. She explains in detail what's she's doing and why, always checks on my comfort level and is so precise and into her work. Her love for it is evident. When my tooth first cracked (during CDC closure) I called the office and Dr. Chavez got back to me right away, asking about my pain level and to send a picture of the area. Upon review she walked me through flossing the piece out and how to maintain it until I was ready to come in. This is the level of care she delivers.. Thank you Dr Chavez!! read more
