I found a rental property on Zillow and I reached out to Exp Realty about this property because…read morethey were attached to the listing. A man named Gary forwarded me to Catherine Cardneaux, and we set up a time to meet to tour the property. She advised me that I had to sign a contract, basically stating that she was going to be the listing agent for this property and if I were to move forward, she would be the one to facilitate the transaction. Upon signing this contract, I notice that she had put that I (tenant) would be paying 55% of her brokers fee and the landlord would be paying 45% of her brokers fee. I did not hire her for this property, nor did she help me find this property. I found this rental all on my own searching on Zillow. And she thought I was going to be a bird brain and sign this contract without reading it. She was trying to facilitate a GREAT DEAL for the landlord by making me pay MORE THAN HALF of her brokers fee! Very unprofessional, and I advise anyone searching for a rental to use someone else!

I dealt with a real estate agent Zubio Realty; his name is RJ. It was a horrible experience. The…read moreagent was extremely rude, unprofessional. I have emails and text messages proving that. He was extremely pushy in the beginning, and I was the one who found the house, He never sent me any listing or took me to any views. I took on RJ as the agent, he negotiated the deal and I got the house. Once I got it, he turned into a very unprofessional person, and left me in the middle of everything and disappeared. He also sent me the most horrible email. I am confident when I say that this experience should be reported and customers should be protected against such acts. RJ made a commission of above 15000 dollars and he did nothing. And then, he gave me the most horrible attitude. He obviously felt safe doing it and getting away with it. Zubio should be put out of business to protect home buyers. Now, the name Zubio is blacklisted to me. I will never use this company again or any of its agents. Being a first time home buyer made it much more difficult for me. I was left with lots of questions and terms that I have no clue what they meant. Also entered in many problems due to not knowing what stuff I should be looking for. All could have been avoided if I was given a list of stuff I should look for. This was an experience from hell. I for sure would want people to be protected from such agents and acts. Very disappointed. I know of people that got presents from their agents after they closed deals. My present was a horrible trauma caused by this person, that I had to contact my lawyer to consult his legal advise on the situation. Very disappointed in Zubio Realty AND in RJ.
